It has been a while since I’ve introduced myself!
My name is Rhiannon and I am the proud owner of Highgrove Grooming Salon. With more than 15 years of hands-on experience as a professional dog groomer and a lifelong passion for animals, I have dedicated my career to creating a nurturing environment for your beloved pets.
At Highgrove I have designed a peaceful and welcoming space where pets can feel at ease while receiving care. My Grooming Techniques emphasize soft Fear-Free methods and I always incorporate positive reinforcement to ensure that each grooming session is not just a routine chore but a happy and enjoyable experience for every animal.
My primary aim is to prioritize the well-being, safety and mental health of animals regardless of the circumstances. I believe that animals are a precious gift to humanity and as such we should treat them with unwavering kindness, love, and respect. This philosophy guides every interaction I have with the furry clients that come through my doors.
Here are some interesting things about me that you might enjoy! I am the founder of the Marmalade Animal Rescue Society an initiative close to my heart that focuses on rescuing and rehabilitating animals in need. I am also a lifelong advocate for animal rights always striving to promote their welfare in every aspect of my life. In addition to my work with dogs and cats, I have accumulated over 21 years of experience with equines which has further deepened my understanding of animal care. On a personal note I follow a vegan diet which reflects my commitment to a compassionate lifestyle.
When I’m not busy working or volunteering to help rescue animals, you can often find me in the kitchen where I enjoy baking delicious treats. My absolute favorite to make are macaroons as they are both fun to create and delightful to eat!
Here’s a fun piece of information! Highgrove Grooming Salon is named in honor of my late grandmother Sharon Dibley, whose love for animals has always inspired me.
