Dear Family,

I had my very first sleepover and I did SO well! I ate all my meals, slept through the whole night, was very polite to the resident cats, and helped supervise garden work (very important puppy business).

It was a very busy day for one big, bouncy puppy — but I had lots of fun and made everyone proud 💛

Weekend guests Rue & Willow kept busy helping in the yard, supervising planting projects, enjoying sunny naps and taking in all the good smells on our walks.

Tiny Willow was enthusiastic about absolutely everything, while Rue preferred to oversee operations from the driest, most comfortable spot possible. Both made time for quality visits with resident cat Bad Molly, who was delighted to have extra company for the weekend.

Goose has been my little shadow this past week ❤️

This thoughtful boy kept me company through hours of webinars, supervising carefully from nearby and occasionally offering his professional opinion in the form of soft mrrrps and headbutts. 😺

Goose is a little more reserved than his brother Maverick, and watching these two together is such a joy. They’re almost always close by one another — sharing naps, checking in on each other, and moving through the house as a team.

There’s something very special about cats who have stayed best friends their whole lives. 😻
