PetSmart Charities of Canada has deployed disaster response grant funding to support the Gander and Area SPCA as they respond to this crisis. The PetSmart Charities of Canada team is continuing to monitor the situation in Newfoundland and connect with local organizations helping pets in need. The team is also monitoring other active wildfires across the country and remains ready to deploy resources to help pets and their people in affected areas.

✨ Gwendolyn the sweet bunny was the longest-term resident at Oakville & Milton Humane Society until she visited a PetSmart store in Oakville, Ontario during PetSmart Charities of Canada National Adoption Week last month!

The Oakville Milton Humane Society team brought Gwendolyn into PetSmart in hopes that she would find a home of her own after being in their care since January. We’re thrilled to report that with her sweet hops, gentle charm and love of accepting treats from everyone she met, she hopped her way into the hearts of many! After receiving multiple adoption applications, this sweet girl was adopted and is finally a part of a loving family! 🏠❤️

Thanks to partnerships between of Canada, local partners and rescues, and PetSmart stores, pets like Gwendolyn have a chance at finding the homes they deserve. Hoppy tails, Gwendolyn!

🐾💖 That’s a wrap on National Adoption Week – and what a week it was for pets like Lucky!

In partnership with PetSmart Charities of Canada and incredible local shelter and rescue organizations, we’re thrilled to share Lucky was one of 1,763 pets that found a loving home during National Adoption Week!🐱

As a tiny, abandoned kitten, Lucky was found by a kind stranger who brought him into the PetSmart store in Oshawa, Ontario. The team at the store quickly took action and connected with their adoption partner, , to get Lucky the care and attention he needed. By National Adoption Week, Lucky was ready to find the loving home he deserved, and he was adopted!

PetSmart National Adoption Week. We currently have these two cuties in need of a loving family home. I’d love to introduce to you Cedar who is a 6.5 month old female and her brother Palmer who is also 6.5 months old. We are looking for a home that is willing to adopt both as they are a bonded pair. If you are interested in adding to your family we would love to hear from you. We are currently accepting applications for Cedar and Palmer. If you’d like to meet them come in and fill out an application and see if they’d be a fit for your home.
Both Cedar and Palmer are spayed and neutered both are chipped and have their first round of vaccinations.
