Wandering Creek Farms is located at the base of the foothills in west central Alberta. Owned and operated by a husband and wife duo, WCF produces quality Friesian, Warmblood and Gypsy Vanner horses suitable for all types of homes.

Lesson Horse / Kids or Husband Horse / Moms Horse Extraordinaire!

Our 2011 16.1hh Canadian Warmblood Mare is looking for a step down from her show jumping career. She is the most incredible mare you will ever find! She is suitable for literally anyone to ride and will completely transform to who is on her back. If you have a nervous kiddo she will tip toe and not put a hoof wrong. If you are a more experienced or confident kiddo or adult, she will be more lively and fun or challenging for you, making her fun and suitable for any age or level. She does not buck, bolt, rear or have any nasty vices. She ties, loads, trims etc like a gem. She is perfect in any herd settings and she absolutely LOVES foals and children. This mare has been shown by amateur teens throught her career in jumping, dressage and cross country. She has also been ridden extensively on trails over bridges and rivers and has been ridden in western saddles lots.
Unfortunately due to some xray findings, it is in her best interest to retire from the show and jumping world and find a home with less performance expectation than the show world requires.

Baby is up to date on everything and is located near Drayton Valley Alberta.

With the recent EHV-1 outbreak across Canada and USA, we are offering 60 days free board to any buyers of our horses during this time. This will allow for things to settle prior to transport, or to find appropriate transport options. As always, personal delivery of our foals is potentially an option as well. This ensures controlled contacts and appropriate quarantine measures are followed, protecting your new baby and the rest of our herd.

First Premium Friesian C**t By Intermediate 1 Stallion

Attention Dressage Enthusiasts!
This handsome man is a purebred Friesian C**t registered with the Barock Pinto Studbook Netherlands (HE IS PUREBRED and eligible for KFPS papers). He recieved a First Premium and Champion C**t at his inspection this September with wonderful comments from the judges. He is also eligible to be dual papered with KFPS should one choose.

With an EMH of 16.1hh+ and a fantastic pedigree encompassing some of the friesian greats such as Jildert 299, Barteld 292, Feitse 293 and Tietse 428, this leggy c**t is destined for greatness in sport, or as a potential approved stallion prospect with Barock Pinto Studbook, as he is free of hydrocephalus and dwarfism making him a prime candidate. His sire, Ulke Jildert Sport Elite, is a very successful Dressage stallion who competed to PSG\Intermediate 1. His dam is a home bred mare who has proven to be a safe under saddle amateurs mount and has produced several quality foals with incredible and trainable minds.

Falco has been trimmed since birth and loads in any trailer. He has been bathed multiple times and hauled to various locations for exposure where he handled everything in stride. He exhibits a very playful personality but is also sweet and affectionate. He has incredible movement and extention and is always first to the gate for scratches. Falco is proving to be smart, trainable and talented. A good home is a must for this special c**t. He is weaned and ready to travel.

We are excited to FINALLY introduce our newest addition 🤩

Not only does she have an incredible pedigree, but she has been developed and shown by the one and only Grand Prix Dressage rider Pia Fortmuller ❤️

How lucky are we to welcome a mare of such high caliber to our fields AND get to continue developing her over the winter. Fiesta has the cutest personality with such an incredible spark to her soul. We are so excited for her future and for what she will teach us in the arena this winter!

We believe this mare will add some much needed quality warmblood lineage to our Barock Pinto program. When paired with the right BP Stallion, she could still throw pinto coloring and near 50% friesian blood.
