🐾 Meet Ollie — standing on his back paws, begging for just a touch of love through the fence. His eyes say it all: “Please don’t forget me.”

🐾 Then there’s Gus — you may remember him from a past post. This time, he’s crammed in a tiny kennel, fresh marks on his face from yet another fight in the overcrowded shelter. His only crime? There are too many dogs and not enough space.

No dog should have to fight for survival or beg for attention just to feel human kindness. Yet for 600 animals in Mérida, this is life every single day.

Behind the fence sit two brothers, side by side, and a big gentle husky with eyes that glow with hope. They don’t dream of riches, only of love, a yard to play in, and a human who will finally throw the ball and give them rubs 🙏🏾

These dogs aren’t broken. They’re bursting with life, loyalty, and love to give. What they’re missing is someone to believe in them. 💔
