After such a successful summer camp season, we're considering launching something new this fall!

Pine Haven Equestrian Academy
Ages 8–16 | Saturdays 9AM–4PM | 4-Week Sessions

Think swimming lessons - but for equestrians! 🏊‍♀️➡️🐴

Participants would work through Equestrian Canada's LearnToRide & LearnToCare framework, combining riding lessons with hands-on horsemanship, horse care, stable management and safety.

Riders progress at their own pace, working toward official evaluations with Jacqueline when they're ready - with the opportunity to continue through the levels and potentially follow a pathway toward obtaining their Equestrian Canada coaching certification.

Right now, we're just gauging interest!

July Schooling Show Rescheduled 📆

The health and safety of our riders, horses, volunteers, and spectators always comes first.

Due to the poor air quality forecast, we have made the decision to reschedule our Schooling Show to Sunday, August 2nd.

We know many of you were looking forward to this weekend, but with the current conditions, we feel this is the safest choice for everyone involved.

All current entries will be transferred to the new date. If you are unable to attend on August 2nd, please send us a message and we’ll be happy to work with you.

When Benji arrived at Pine Haven in March 2026, he was emaciated and covered in lice.
His teeth had been neglected for years - his lower teeth had overgrown to the point they were stabbing into the roof of his mouth every time he tried to eat.

Over the past few months, with a carefully managed feeding program, dental care, veterinary checkups, de-lousing, and lots of grooming to remove his dead winter coat, Benji has transformed.

Today, he is healthy, comfortable, and happy.
Watching life return to his eyes, and simply enjoy being a horse again, brings tears to mine. Every horse deserves the chance to feel safe, cared for, and loved.

Thank you to every single person who supports Pine Haven Stables. Every lesson you book helps us provide care for horses like Benji. Your support truly changes lives - both human and equine. 🫶
