We are so grateful for our amazing community!

🌎💚 Teamwork for a cleaner community!

Recently, the teams from Valley Veterinary Services, Cottonwood Veterinary Clinic, and Sardis Animal Hospital braved the rain and joined forces for their first community cleanup through the City of Chilliwack’s Adopt a Road program.

As part of their Earth Day initiative, the teams adopted a local roadway and spent the day helping keep their community beautiful. It was also a wonderful opportunity for the teams to connect outside of work while making a positive impact together.

Thank you to these dedicated teams for showing that caring for communities goes beyond the clinic walls. 💙

Did you know we offer laser therapy ?
Congratulations Navid on your certification !

Laser therapy for dogs is a non-invasive, drug-free treatment that uses targeted light beams to reduce pain, decrease inflammation, and accelerate healing.

Also known as cold laser therapy or photobiomodulation, the procedure stimulates cellular activity, boosting blood flow and promoting a quicker recovery.

Call our team today , to see if laser therapy is suitable for your pet

This is the first smiling face you’ll see at Valley Veterinary Services !

The Veterinary Receptionist is often viewed as the face and voice of a clinic.

Their days consist of everything from greeting patients and clients, to weighing animals, completing paperwork, checking clients in for surgeries, booking appointments, and supporting (human) clients in making decisions on animal nutrition and pet insurance.

They are there to provide knowledge and support to the animal and human clients each day no matter what comes their way.

This is your Registered Veterinary Technologist !

A Registered Veterinary Technologist (RVT) or Registered Veterinary Technician, is a highly trained paraprofessional who works alongside licensed veterinarians.

Along with patient care and client education, this team member works alongside our veterinarians with anesthesia & Surgery: Preparing surgical equipment, inducing and monitoring anesthesia, and assisting during operations.

But it doesn’t end there …. She also is collecting laboratory samples, analyzing blood and urine, and taking diagnostic radiographs.

She provides team training and is always updating her own skills to ensure she’s giving the very best to our patients - everytime!

It’s Veterinary Assistant Appreciation Week!

Our amazing veterinary assistants wear many hats in our hospital and are vital team members to ensure our patients are well cared for

A veterinary assistant supports veterinarians and veterinary technicians . They perform a mix of clinical care (restraining and comforting animals, sterilizing equipment), administrative duties (booking appointments, updating records), and facility maintenance (cleaning kennels )

Animal handling , basic nursing , and surgery prep are just a small list of the vet assistant tasks at Valley Veterinary Services

Thank you , Faith , Sebrina and Kaylee for all you do !
