Chanel was spayed last Wednesday and is recovering well.
Breezie is too small to spay yet, she’ll wait u til October.
The girls will be leaving next weekend for their forever home, together.
But look what I found in their litter box!!!!

Cricket and Calamiry are reaching out for help - please help them find the right home for them.

These sisters of 5 months of age would do well in a home with other cats and have been around dogs.
They love playing with children and are gentle.
The girls are very social and would enjoy hanging out with you, sleeping in your bed, and cuddling on the couch.

They are fully vaccinated and dewormed, microchipped and spayed.

Friday fun with Forrest -
This little guy suffered not only a broken leg at 8 weeks of age, but also upper respiratory infection and bad ear mites plus starvation .
Those are his physical issues he’s had to deal with.
The emotional trauma of being abandoned deep in limerick Forrest is another issue.
It’s very upsetting for these darling kitties and takes time to heal.
I will provide all medical care, good food , and all the TLC he needs.
Glad to see him okay , even though it was very brief.
He’s exhausted

Poor Kevin came and snuggled for a couple hours last night after his neuter.

I think he was just telling me he had a stressful day and needed some love and comfort.
Kevin and Cooper will be moving into their new home on the long weekend.

Update on Ramsay and Apollo

Ramsay almost died of starvation and infection. He is an orange male kitten of 6 months of age. Showed up in a ladies back yard begging for help.
We almost lost him but our vets worked hard and here he is, eating on his own and slowly recovering.
He is fiv/Fel negative but has upper respiratory infection . I’m thankful he is a fighter and wants to live.

He will be staying in clinic until he’s strong enough to neuter and then he will go to his foster home.

Apollo had a set back with some diarrhea and vomit . He also has a urinary Tracy infection.
He came back to stay at the clinic to receive the help he needs. It’s easier to give him medication while at the clinic than in a Foster’s room.
He too is on the mend and should be going to his foster home next week.

I’m grateful for Almonte Veterinary Services for taking such good care of our rescue cats and kittens. Without them I could not save lives.
I’m grateful for fosters willing to give scared cats a chance .
