So I got a reminder yesterday (thanks Taylor Bobbie ) to remind everyone why I won't do the guaranteed feed program.

I work hard at ordering feed every week to have enough, but things happen, and I do make mistakes...(shhh Mark Stevens ) lol

But...my feed is fresh...very fresh, and that is super important. Horses prefer a feed that smells like we want to eat it. The vitamins and minerals work better in their bodies. With guaranteed programs that feed is there for a month or two before you get it... so by the time it is fed it is 3 months old or older...and that makes a difference. Feed from us is from 1 to 4 weeks old...yes that includes age from the mill!!

Masterfeeds Horse Feeds has guidelines on how feed is stored. Not wrapped in plastic, never older then 6 months old to be sold, not stored on the ground , airflow etc. I take huge pride in the quality of the feed I sell and my knowledge about building complete feeding rations.

In the coming weeks we will be bringing in a rewards program. With the economy raising feed and fuel costs...I want to find a way to help.
We will be offering a rewards card. Your 15th bag of feed(same for all 15) will be free. We will stamp the card at each sale and you keep and present the card. You are in control. Will start the program the weekend of our sale.

Also working with Masterfeeds to offer a discount on a feed this month!!!

I know this will be a tough winter but I am doing all I can to help.
