🏡 Life in Binkytown 🐰💕 20 Family Members. One Impossible Family Photo! ❤️🐾

A couple of months after we moved into our new home, my man friend, Alden, mentioned that we didn't have a single picture of the two of us hanging anywhere.

He wasn't wrong. We really don't have many pictures together!

Fast-forward to his birthday, and I remembered that conversation. I thought it would be nice to surprise him with a family portrait.

But here's the thing...

Our family isn't exactly your average family. 🤣

There's Alden and me, our dog Shamrock, four cats, four permanent Binkytown residents, and nine foster buns.

That's 20 family members, 72 paws, a whole lot of ears, and more personality than one household probably needs! 🤣

And while a family portrait sounds lovely in theory, getting everyone together for an actual photograph would be completely out of the question. Some of our buns are perfectly happy with their own partners but would have VERY strong opinions about meeting the others. And then there's our special little Spock, who has worked so hard to feel safe and comfortable in his own space. ❤️

So, thanks to a little help from AI, I decided to create the impossible!

Sounds simple enough, right?

WRONG. 🤦‍♀️🤣

What started as a cute birthday idea turned into nearly TWO WEEKS of convincing AI that no, that isn't what that bunny looks like, no, we don't need an extra rabbit, and YES, Spock really is missing part of his ear!

Apparently, getting 20 family members to cooperate for a fictional photo shoot isn't much easier than a real one. 😂

But after countless adjustments, a little creative problem-solving, and a few moments of questioning my own sanity, we finally had our family portrait.

And the best part? Alden loved it. ❤️

So, without further ado, meet the Binkytown family!

🐾 Our household crew: Shamrock, Waylon, Frankie, Johnny, and Dusty.

🐰 Our permanent Binkytown residents: Biscuit, Ringo, Marshall, and Sage.

💕 Our foster fluffle: Sebastian & Trinity, Mochi & Misha, Linus & Gabby, Ralphie & Jenny, and, of course, our special little Spock.

And somewhere in the middle of all that fur, hay, mischief, and bunny p**p... there's Alden and me. 🤣❤️

Life here may be a little unconventional, occasionally exhausting, and almost always entertaining, but I wouldn't trade our beautifully chaotic family for anything.

🐰 Life in Binkytown: Generosity Has Its Limits! 🛍️❤️

Some very important business was conducted at Binkytown today.

The fosters held an emergency meeting and unanimously voted to donate a tote to Bunny Run Rabbit Rescue's annual Warming Up to Winter auction! 🥹

Their generosity is truly inspiring.

Especially considering not one of them has a job, pays rent, contributes toward groceries, or cleans up after themselves. 🤦‍♀️😂

Naturally, Mochi & Misha were selected to represent the fluffle, since they're the stars of our I Don't Give a Fluff design.

Unfortunately, their enthusiasm for philanthropy didn't quite extend to cooperating with the promotional photoshoot.

Apparently, donating something they didn't pay for was the easy part. 😂

All jokes aside, we're always happy to support Bunny Run Rabbit Rescue, the wonderful rescue responsible for bringing these little troublemakers into our lives. ❤️

🏡 Life in Binkytown 🐰💕

Apparently, nothing is bunworthy anymore! 🤦‍♀️🤣

It's been one thing after another with Sebastian & Trinity lately!

Tonight, while serving everybunny their supper, I noticed something concerning. Sebastian & Trinity's water bowl was missing!

Cue the immediate guilt. 😟 Water is SO important for rabbits, and I couldn't believe we'd somehow forgotten to replace their bowl!

Well, turns out we hadn't forgotten anything.

Their water bowl was there all along.

Apparently, Sebastian & Trinity had simply decided it was no longer meeting their standards and removed it from service. 🤦‍♀️🤣

Don't worry, fresh water was promptly restored to their accommodations. Whether the replacement bowl meets their exceptionally high standards remains to be seen. 🤣💦

Between their recent tunnel bed demolition and now this, I'm starting to think these two are preparing a formal list of complaints for management.

And honestly, they're not the only ones!

Apparently, the latest trend sweeping Binkytown is removing perfectly good hay from the litter boxes and redecorating the floors with it. 🌾

Fresh hay? ✅

Clean pens? ✅

Comfortable accommodations? ✅

Appreciation for management? Absolutely not. ❌🤣

At this point, I think the buns have mistaken their foster home for a five-star resort with an unlimited renovation budget and housekeeping staff.

🐰 Life in Binkytown: The Scene of the Crime 🚨

Somewhere under all that hay, there used to be a floor. 😂

I arrived to discover what can only be described as a rather questionable housekeeping situation in Linus & Gabby's suite.

Gabby was found sitting at the scene, looking completely unbothered.

Was it Gabby? Was it Linus? Was this a coordinated effort?

Unfortunately, neither suspect is cooperating with the investigation. 🕵️‍♀️🐰

One thing is certain... housekeeping at Binkytown is a full-time job! 🤣❤️

🏡 Life in Binkytown 🐰💕 RIP Tunnel Bed 🪦🤣

Well, it appears Sebastian & Trinity have officially completed their latest renovation project.

You may remember their beloved tunnel bed. The one they were absolutely obsessed with?

Yeah... about that. 😂

Apparently, the tunnel portion was no longer meeting their design standards, so they took matters into their own paws.

One complete demolition later, we now have... whatever this is. 🤣

I'm not sure whether to declare the tunnel bed officially deceased or add another sewing project to my already questionable to-do list. 🧵😂

Either way, Sebastian & Trinity seem quite pleased with their handiwork.
