Cats Home Foundation strives to provide a safe haven for homeless cats and kittens through innovative welfare and educational programs, such as home-based rehoming centres, Catch Neuter Vaccinate Return (CNVR) programs, bottle kitten nursery centres, and cat care & advocacy groups. Cats Home Foundation is based in Alberta, Canada and was formed to address the overwhelming over-population of cats a

nd kittens in rural and urban areas where necessary resources are low or lack accessibility, resulting in unmanaged colonies of both friendly and feral cats. Many of these cats are unfixed, unvaccinated, and are suffering from illness, injury, and starvation on a daily basis. Cats Home Foundation’s goal is to work with communities that are home to unmanaged colonies to help prevent suffering, provide support to community members and cats, and to work together to reduce over-populations through sustainable management programs to improve the lives and welfare of cats and communities in Alberta.

With his bright golden eyes, magnificent white whiskers, and tiny white boots, this handsome tuxedo boy is impossible to overlook. But it is the heart beneath that dapper coat that makes Boots truly special. 🩷

Boots is a friendly, affectionate social butterfly who loves being close to his people. He wants to follow you through the day, share the quiet moments, and be there whenever affection is available. For Boots, the best place in the world is wherever his favourite humans happen to be.

🖤 Some cats are looking for a home. Boots is looking for his people. 🐾

The kind of people who are home often. Who won’t mind a handsome tuxedo shadow following them from room to room. Who know that an ordinary day is simply better with a cat beside you.

Because Boots doesn’t just want to live with his family.

He wants to be part of it. 🤍

Boots is a happy, affectionate boy who genuinely loves his humans. He wants to greet you, keep you company, soak up your attention, and be included in whatever the day brings.

Quiet evening on the couch? He’s in.

Wandering around the house doing absolutely nothing exciting? Boots would still like to come.

Stopping everything because he’s adorable and clearly requires immediate attention? Obviously. 🐱

What Boots is really searching for is a family who is home often and has plenty of time and love to share.

🐾 Senior Sunday: Jojo Is Ready for Her Soft Place to Land 💕

Some cats are looking for adventure.

Jojo is looking for sunshine, soft beds, and someone to come home to. 💜

At seven years old, this sweet girl knows exactly what makes life good: a warm patch of sun, a cozy place to curl up, and her favourite people nearby for cuddles.

Jojo is enjoying life in one of our amazing foster homes, but she’s ready for something of her very own.

A sunny window that becomes her window. A favourite bed that slowly collects Jojo-shaped indents. A family who is home often and knows that quiet companionship can be one of the very best kinds of love.

Jojo has done well with easy-going, cat-friendly cats and select cat-appropriate dogs who respect her boundaries. She would be happiest in a calm, peaceful home with older, cat-savvy children.

She really isn’t asking for much.

Just a soft place to land and people to love for all the Sundays still to come. 💕

🐾 “Please, sir… may I have some more?” It’s Caturday! 🐾

Oliver Twist has an important Caturday announcement to make… although he seems to believe a Catit Creamy is required before he can get down to business. 😹💗

Creamy secured, Oliver is very pleased to announce that he has officially arrived at our Adoption Centre inside Pisces Pet Emporium!

He’s settling in, getting to know his new surroundings, and preparing for his big debut. He’ll be available for visits in the coming days, and we have a feeling this charming little gentleman may have a few hearts waiting for him.

But Oliver’s story is only just beginning.

All around him are other cats with stories of their own.

Cats who have been waiting patiently. Cats who are ready to play. Cats who would happily curl up beside you on the couch. Cats who might need a little time before they’re brave enough to show you just how much love they have to give.

They’re all waiting for the same beautiful thing:

Someone to choose them. 💗

So while Oliver enjoys his Creamy and settles into Adoption Centre life, he has one small Caturday request…

🎉🐾 Feature Friday meets Feline Friday! 🐾🎉

Today is Cali’s birthday, and one very special Cats Home kitty decided to make sure she had something to remember it by.

Benton is a sweet, loveable boy, but he can be shy. Trust takes a little time for him, which makes the moments when he decides someone is safe enough to let in pretty special.

Today, he chose Cali. 🥹

He came out of his shell, climbed into her arms, and gave her a birthday hug. 💗🐾

And if you know Cali, it’s easy to understand why.

Cali is one of the amazing faces behind our Adoption Centre at Pisces Pet Emporium and an essential part of the Cats Home team. She helps make sure our cats are fed, loved and comfortable, and that they receive any medications, supplements and extra care they need.

She does it all with a smile, a kind heart, and a willingness to help whenever a kitty needs her.

The cats know who their people are. 🥰

And today, Benton made it pretty clear that Cali is one of his. 💗

Happy Birthday, Cali! 🎂🐾 Thank you for everything you do for our cats and for being such an important part of the Cats Home family. 💕
