Our sweet girl Chai is coming back into our care and needs a foster home ASAP! 🐾

Her return is through absolutely no fault of her own — sometimes circumstances simply change, and that’s okay. Our job now is to make sure Chai has a great place to land. ❤️

Chai was one of our Coffee Litter babies, and we’re happy to welcome this little lady back into the WildKind crew while we figure out what comes next for her.

Because we are a small, completely foster-based rescue, we need to have a foster home lined up for her.

If you have room for Chai, whether temporarily or until she finds her next home, please reach out!

We provide everything she needs — you provide the home, love and maybe a little space on the couch. 😉

🚨 FOSTERS WANTED — PLEASE. FOR THE LOVE OF REV. 🚨

We need to stop posting Rev.

Not because he found a home.
Not because we’re giving up.

Because his ego is becoming absolutely unbearable. 😂

He’s seen himself on Facebook so many times that he’s now demanding we change the name to Rev’s Rescue, give him a seat on the board, and consult him on all future intake decisions.

We cannot allow this to continue.

But in all seriousness — we need foster homes. ❤️

We’re a tiny, foster-based rescue, which means without foster homes, we simply cannot bring another dog into care. Right now, we’d love to have one or two foster homes lined up so when a dog needs us, we can actually say yes.

We provide the supplies and support.
You provide the temporary home, patience, love and probably a spot on your couch.

Even if you’re not ready to foster today but would like to get approved and be available when the right dog comes along, we want to hear from you.

Help us save another dog.

But more importantly…

Help us humble Rev. His head is getting huge. 😂🐾

Okay… Rev’s “new” marketing team told us we needed to step up our game, so here we are. 😂

Apparently regular adoption posts weren’t cutting it, so Rev has officially expanded his résumé.

✅ Professional headshots
✅ Dating profile
✅ LinkedIn account
✅ Learning how to file his own taxes

At this point, we’re not sure if we’re trying to find him a home or prepare him for adulthood. 🤦‍♀️😂

All jokes aside… this handsome goof is STILL waiting for someone to notice him.

So… the director who normally handles our Facebook/Instagram posts has been on vacation the last few days.

Which means someone else has been left in charge of the page….

This feels like a questionable management decision. 😂

There was no content calendar.

No supervision.

No emergency contact.

Just a Facebook password and an alarming amount of confidence.

So if things get a little weird around here this week…

Mind your business. 😂

Okay guys… we need to talk. 😂

How has nobody scooped up this big ol’ dork yet?!

Seriously. What are we missing here?

Rev is handsome. He’s hilarious. He’s a giant suck. He loves his dog friends and would probably sell our souls for a snack.

Is he perfect? Absolutely not. 😂

Manners are still loading.
Sometimes his excitement arrives before his brain does.
And we’re still not entirely convinced there’s a thought behind those eyes at all times. 🤣

But this boy has come SO far, and the more comfortable he gets, the more his ridiculous little personality comes out.

So at this point, we’re wondering if Rev needs a new marketing team.

Professional headshots?
A dating profile?
A LinkedIn account?
Should we teach him to file taxes?!

WHAT DOES THIS MAN NEED TO DO?! 😂

Because his current strategy of being cute, making us laugh and hoping someone falls in love with him clearly isn’t working.

Maybe Rev isn’t your guy… but surely somebody out there is looking for exactly this kind of lovable chaos.

Thinking about fostering a dog? Here’s what you can expect:

🐾 You’ll say, “They’re NOT allowed on the couch.”

🐾 Approximately 48 hours later, you’ll be sitting on the floor because they’re sleeping comfortably on said couch.

🐾 You’ll take 847 photos of them doing absolutely nothing.

🐾 You’ll celebrate a p**p outside like they just won an Olympic medal.

🐾 You’ll start referring to yourself as “we” because apparently you and the dog now make all decisions together.

🐾 You’ll tell everyone, “I’m NOT keeping this one.”

…we’ve heard that one before. 😂

Fostering might be a little chaotic, a little hairy and occasionally involve conversations about p**p that you never expected to have…

But you get to be the safe place between where they were and where they’re going. ❤️

And that’s a pretty cool job. 🐾

Nobody prepares you for the conversations you have once you have a dog…

“What do you have in your mouth?”

“Nope… drop it.”

“Leave your brother alone.”

Well, Rev… looks like it’s time. ❤️

We’ve spent the last little while getting to know this guy.

We’ve watched him figure out walks at his own pace, discover the joys of indoor life, learn that personal space is completely optional 😂, and slowly let his guard down enough to show us just how affectionate he can be.

And now we get to say it:

Rev is officially ready for adoption. 🐾

He’s come a long way from the dog who spent his life outside relying on himself. He’s still learning, still building confidence, and there will be new things his family will need to work through with him—but underneath all of that is one seriously lovable guy.

We aren’t looking for someone who expects perfection.

We’re looking for someone who sees Rev, understands where he’s come from, and is ready to keep showing him how good this new life can be.

We’ve gotten to know him.
Now it’s time for his person to find him.

Maybe… today’s the day. 🐾❤️

The staff were lovely, the treats were delicious, but I think I’ve been bamboozled.

Now I’m home recovering, getting spoiled, and pretending this whole thing never happened.

P.S. If you see me walking into walls… no you didn’t. 😂❤️
