Every October, the Alberta Veterinary Technologist Association (ABVTA) proudly celebrates RVT Month to recognize Registered Veterinary Technologists (RVTs), increase awareness of the work they do, and strengthen recognition of their role across veterinary medicine.

Dental disease is one of the most common health problems older pets experience. The disease doesn't just affect your pet's teeth, but may also increase the risk of heart, kidney, or liver conditions in some cases. Although dental disease can happen at any age, older pets are more likely to develop tooth or gum problems.
