Our UKC Nosework Trial is Open for Registration!

May 22nd to May 24th.

Pre-Entry Deadline is May 15th, get those entries in!

Friday, May 22nd: All levels Handler Discrimination starting at 6pm
Saturday, May 23rd: One trial of all levels for all elements
Sunday, May 24th: One trial of all levels for all elements

🎉 GIVEAWAY RESULTS TIME! 🎉

This past weekend was our first of the year Barn Hunt Association trial at our facility.

Dog sports are truly run on the work of the volunteers that help keep trials running smoothly and so, volunteers are our trial are allowed to submit their names into our draw for a custom martingale, biothane leash from My Leash Canada.

We appreciate each and every one of you who come out to our trials!

This trial's winner, selected by trainer Tracy Wood's dog Fundy, is Laurie A McLaughlin (owner of Goose!)

Our three day Barn Hunt trial is opening April 27th at 9am on Secreterrier.com

The trial will run from Friday May 29th to Sunday, May 31st.

The Friday start time is noon and will be two trials of Crazy8s and one trial of Novice through to Masters.

Saturday and Sunday will start at 8:30am and will be two trials of Novice through to Masters.

To enter this trial, you must have an account on SecreTerrier! The trial opens at 9am Eastern time through the Secreterrier website.

A new Intro to Scentwork is starting soon!

This Intro to Scentwork is suitable for beginners and appropriate for dogs of any age or background. Come learn how amazing your dog's nose really is!

Since our dog's experience the world through their noses, learning about scentwork and practicing the skills learned in this class can greatly improve the confidence in dogs who can be shy or anxious, or help very excited dogs learn to focus.

Scentwork is also always positive, pairing the scent that they are looking for with food, making it a great activity for relationship building between you and your dog!

Location: The Canine Companion facility just outside of Brigden
Start Date: Thursday, April 16th at 1pm
Length: 5 consecutive weeks
Cost: $200 plus HST

Need some practice in the Barn Hunt ring before our (full but accepting a waitlist) BHA trial the first weekend in May?

We've added a special Sunday evening drop in for those who can't make our regular practices on Wednesday evenings.

Date: April 19th
Senior and Master dogs run first at 4pm
Followed by Novice and Open dogs at 6pm

We will set up and work on any requests you may have to specifically work on scenerios you may be struggling with, or just freshen up your dog if that is all that is needed.
