We’re happy to report that some of the kitties that were here over the weekend have been adopted and found their furrrever homes.

Opening your heart and giving these animals a second chance is one of the most rewarding feelings.

🥵 Signs of stress due to the extreme heat can set in quickly, know what's normal behaviour for your pets.

All animals should always have access to clean and cool water. 💦

*REMEMBER*
Dogs and other animals don't sweat the same way that we do in order to lower their bodies temperature in the heat.

🌬 When the air is thick and muggy keep your pace slow and take lots of breaks. Try to leave activities with your pets to the morning and late afternoon hours of the day.

If you're unable to avoid midday activity stick to areas with lots of shade, water and a cool beeeze/airflow.🌥
