🐾 Happy from... two very confused kittens 😺🐶

Meet Cleo & Milo — they heard it was Dog Day and decided to paws and celebrate anyway.
Because let’s be honest, they rule the house 365 days a year. Dogs just get one. 😼💅

Meet the Bonus Team series!

For as long as she can remember, Mariana has dreamed of talking to animals understanding their needs, their personalities, and their unspoken stories. That dream helped her turn her passion into reality, inspiring her to become a Veterinarian and graduate with honors in her home country Mexico.
During her career, Mariana has not only worked in clinical settings but has also been deeply involved in science. She was part of her university’s Parasitology Department, contributing to research in parasitology, bacteriology, nutrition, nutraceuticals, and microbiota. This scientific background gives her a unique perspective when caring for pets, allowing her to combine hands on experience with evidence based medicine.
Now living in Canada, Mariana is working toward obtaining her Canadian veterinary license. In the meantime, she continues dedicating her skills, compassion, and knowledge to helping animals live healthier, happier lives. She believes that veterinary medicine is not just about treating illness , it’s about building a trusting relationship with pets and their families.
When she’s not at the clinic, you’ll probably find her:
🐾 Gym
🐾 Caring for her growing collection of plants.
🐾 Enjoying a cup of coffee.
Her constant companion is Khali, her 10 year old dog (a unique mix of Basset Hound and Husky) with a big heart, an even bigger personality. Khali often inspires Mariana to see the world from a pet’s perspective reminding her that love, patience, and trust are the foundation of great veterinary care.

Meet the team series!!

Amanda is a Registered Veterinary Technician who studied at NSAC in Nova Scotia and followed her love of animals into a rewarding career. She especially enjoys educating clients, helping them feel confident in caring for their pets.

At home, Amanda is kept entertained by Boomer, her goofy yellow Lab, and Stewie, her spunky orange cat. Originally from the Maritimes, Amanda and her military family moved to the area in 2021. She values being part of a supportive community that understands the ups and downs of military life.

Known for her positive attitude and top-tier dad jokes, Amanda brings warmth and a great sense of humour to both her team and clients.

Meet the team series!!

Katy is all about helping others, whether it’s calming a nervous pet parent, making a patient smile, or just bringing a little light to someone’s day. She worked at an animal shelter for four years before joining the veterinary world, and she’s always had a soft spot for animals who’ve had a rough start.

She’s a proud mom to three unique pets: Dodge, her goofy 2-year-old Rottweiler who had a hip replacement as a puppy and now spends his days napping and licking windows; Lagertha, a sweet but skittish Belgian Tervuren who sticks close to home; and Wanda, a sassy Siamese mix who enjoys supervising the water cooler.

Katy loves her community for its ability to surprise and come together when it matters. When Dodge needed surgery, she organized bake sales and bottle drives to help cover the cost, and was blown away by the support she received. That experience reminded her just how much people can care.

Outside the clinic, Katy loves working on cars and is a full-time mom to an awesome 8-year-old son who’s already dreaming of becoming a vet. She’s here to make a difference, one smile (and one pet) at a time.

Not a tracker, more like a digital name tag⚠️

Microchips are small, rice-sized devices that use radio frequency identification (RFID) to transmit a unique number.

If your pet goes missing, they can be scanned and identified as yours!

Magen has been working with animals and their people for over 30 years, and it’s still her favourite thing to do. She’s known for her big heart, calm presence, and deep love for animals of all kinds.

She lives in Belleville, where she’s been part of the same tight-knit neighbourhood for over 40 years. At home, things are never quiet. Magen shares her life with three Keeshonds (Pyro, Riot, and Sunny), four cats, and three rabbits, including Momma, a foster who gave birth to 11 babies right in her living room (she kept two of them!), 2 rats, 1 hamster and fish.

Magen also fosters Keeshonds, volunteers with the local daycare board, and leads Keeshond Rescue Ontario Inc. Watching foster dogs grow and thrive is one of the most rewarding parts of her life. Over the years, she’s also enjoyed showing dogs in conformation, obedience, and even some agility. Her latest puppy is already lined up to join the fun.

For Magen, it’s all about connection, helping people, helping pets, and being part of a community that cares.

Courtney is a Registered Veterinary Technician who’s been passionate about animals for as long as she can remember. She earned her diploma in Veterinary Technology and now channels that lifelong love into hands-on care, client education, dental cleanings, and radiographs.

She shares her home with a rescue dog named Captain and three cats (Pumpkin, Aloe, and Mr. Binx) each with their own story. As a kid, Courtney dreamed of opening her own animal hospital. Today, she’s living that dream by making a difference every day, one pet at a time.
