Although a bit nervous, our brave little girls Anna and Elsa ventured out of their nesting box for the first time today.

As many of you know, we offer personal delivery of our kittens within North America. We have portable playpens so kittens can stretch in airports waiting for flights or layovers, we have portable litter boxes, food and water and an abundance of toys to play with them. We also have their harnesses should they like to go for a little walk. Today, while on a layover in Minneapolis, as I was putting the kitten back in her carrier to board and the people around me were so anxious to board and knocked into me, and the poor kitten jumped out of my arms in fear. I quickly ran to pick her up but noticed a small limp in her front paw when she walked. The person did not apologize nor offer to help me pick up everything I dropped. I was clearly in distress trying to hold the kitten and pick everything up but people continued to walk on by. I got the kitten, whom was shaking, all settled into her carrier as I was being ushered to board the plane. We get to our seat and I can smell what clearly was the poor kitten having emptied her bowels in her carrier from the ordeal. Not her fault, poor girl. Luckily for puppy pads and extra blankets, we rush to the washroom and get her and the bag cleaned as much as possible as the very rude flight attendant was yelling to take our seat. I apologized profusely to all those around me, but at this point, as we were to take off momentarily there was nothing more I could do other than attempt to comfort our little girl. I rarely ever 'rant', but where has compassion gone in today's society.
