May, you were one for the books. 💛

In the span of 31 days we attended two awards galas, celebrated winning Young Entrepreneur of the Year, officially kicked off wedding season, attended four venue open houses as preferred vendors, spoke at two high schools for career day, hopped on countless discovery calls and client meetings, and welcomed some pretty incredible pets to the wedding world.

Monty, Bower, Freya, Kilo, Sundae, Honeydew, Willow, Simba, and Gambino all got to celebrate alongside their favourite people this month, each bringing their own personality, tail wags, and unforgettable moments.

There were long drives, early mornings, late nights, endless emails, countless kilometres on the road, and enough coffee, Alani Nu, and Diet Coke to keep the wheels turning (iykyk 😉).

Most importantly, there were so many moments that reminded me exactly why I built this business in the first place.

If May was any indication of what the rest of wedding season has in store, we are in for an incredible year.

Thank you to every couple, venue, vendor, supporter, friend, family member, and team member who has been part of the journey so far. We are just getting started. 🐾

Strolling into wedding season like… 🐾✨

We’re still recovering from an incredible weekend of celebration at Windermere House, soaking in all the happy tears, wagging tails, and unforgettable moments. But there’s no time to slow down because we’re jumping right back into it with FIVE weddings this weekend.

From Muskoka resorts to backyard celebrations, church ceremonies to private estates, wedding season is officially here and we couldn’t be more excited.

To every couple trusting us with your beloved pets this season, thank you. We know how much these animals mean to you, and it is an honour to help make sure they can be part of one of the biggest days of your life.

Now excuse us while we restock the treat bags, wash the leashes, pack the wedding kits, and get ready to do it all over again. 🐶💍

As we pack up the car and get ready to head into our final wedding weekend of May, I can’t help but sit for a moment in gratitude.

This month has been an absolute whirlwind in the best way possible. Weddings and final training shifts. Wedding shows. Awards and galas. New client meetings. Scheduling calls. High school career coaching. So many hours on the road. Early mornings, late nights, lots of coffee, lots of laughs, and somehow still finding moments to soak it all in.

My heart is already so full and wedding season is only just beginning.

I am so incredibly thankful for every couple who trusts us with such an important part of their day, every vendor who recommends us, every team member who pours their heart into this business, and every single person cheering us on behind the scenes.

Here’s to one last May wedding weekend before the chaos of summer officially begins 🐾🤍

Just a ring boy getting one last good luck kiss from Maverick before the ceremony. 🥹🤍

These are the moments that make having your dog there so special. The candid little interactions nobody could plan for. The slobbery kisses, the excitement, the chaos, the love.

And honestly? I think Maverick took his role as emotional support very seriously that day.

These are also the types of behind the scenes moments we absolutely love capturing and sending to our couples. While your photographer is focused on you, your guests, and all the big moments of the day, we get to soak in all the sweet little moments happening with your dog in between. And sometimes those end up being the photos that mean the most. ✨

There is just something so special about seeing pets included in weddings. Not because they are perfectly behaved or because every moment goes exactly to plan, but because they are family. And the moments somehow feel even more meaningful with them there.

This wedding will always hold such a special place in my heart because it was one of the very first weddings I ever did… and truly one of the moments that inspired this business. 🤍

Long before I was a pet wedding chaperone, I was Stevie, Louiee and Boomer’s dog walker. I spent years with them. Walks, muddy paws, goofy moments, puppy stages, growing up together. So getting to see them standing beside their people on one of the biggest days of their lives felt incredibly full circle.

And yes… I still laugh thinking about how I used to have to physically carry Boomer on walks when he was a puppy because he would get tired halfway through. Now look at him standing there in his little tux. 🥹

These three will always hold such a special piece of my heart and I think this wedding was the moment I realized this was exactly what I was meant to do.

One thing about Muskoka weddings? They are never just one day events. 🤍

Usually it starts with a rehearsal dinner, welcome party, or sunset boat cruise on Friday. Then the wedding day on Saturday. Followed by a slow Sunday morning brunch before everyone packs up and heads home from cottage country.

And yes… we can handle your dog for all of it.

From dockside photos and greeting guests at the welcome party to walking down the aisle and hanging out during brunch the next morning, we are there to make sure your dog is safely included in every part of the weekend.

Muskoka weddings are such a unique experience and we love helping couples make those memories with their pets too. The boat rides, the lakeside portraits, the late night cuddles back at the cottage… it’s all part of the story.
