🦔 Porcupines are out and about this time of year — especially during the early morning and later evening hours!

We’ve recently been seeing more pets coming in with quills, and trust us… it’s not a fun experience for anyone involved. 😣

To help protect your pets:
• Keep dogs leashed during dawn and dusk walks
• Watch for unusual sniffing, barking, or sudden yelping outdoors

If your pet does get quilled, please do not attempt to remove embedded quills at home. Contact us as soon as possible, as quills can migrate and cause serious complications.

Stay safe out there and give your furry friends an extra cuddle from us! 🐾

Reminder to our clients that our Tick Borne Disease Testing Clinic is coming up on Thursday, June 4th! 🐾

Appointments are filling up fast, but we still have room for more pets to be tested.

Tick borne diseases such as Lyme disease and Anaplasmosis are becoming increasingly common in our area, and many dogs can test positive without showing any signs. Early testing and prevention are so important!

Please call or email the clinic to book your spot. Don’t forget to ask us about tick prevention and Lyme vaccination options for your pet! 🐶🩺

🐾 Due to the overwhelming response from our first clinic, we are excited to announce that we are hosting another Tick-Borne Disease Testing Clinic on Thursday, June 4th!

Call us for our Special Offer.

The interest and participation from our clients showed just how important tick awareness has become in our area. During our previous clinic, several dogs tested positive while showing no symptoms at all — a reminder that prevention and early detection matter.

We want to continue raising awareness about the importance of:
✔️ Tick-borne disease testing
✔️ Lyme vaccination
✔️ Year-round tick & flea prevention

Ticks are active, and protecting your pets is one of the best ways to keep them healthy and safe this season.

📞 Please call or email the clinic to book your spot and to learn more about our special offer. 🐾

⚠️ Parvovirus Alert ⚠️

We would like to inform our clients that we recently diagnosed a positive case of parvovirus in a young puppy.

Canine parvovirus is a highly contagious and potentially life-threatening disease that primarily affects puppies and unvaccinated dogs. Symptoms may include:• Vomiting• Severe diarrhea (often bloody)• Lethargy• Loss of appetite• Fever

Parvo spreads easily through contact with infected dogs, f***s, and contaminated surfaces. Vaccination is the best protection against this serious disease.

Please ensure your puppies are up to date on their vaccination schedule and avoid high-risk public areas until they are fully vaccinated. If your dog is showing any concerning signs, contact our clinic immediately.

Let’s work together to keep our pets safe and healthy.

Today we celebrate the love, care, patience, and hard work that moms give every single day. From busy farm moms caring for calves and cows, to pet moms snuggling their furry companions, to moms caring for their families — we appreciate you all.

Wishing you a wonderful Mother’s Day filled with love, laughter, and maybe a little extra relaxation! 💕

Thank you to everyone who participated in our recent Tick Borne Diseases Testing Clinic! 🐾

We completed 18 SNAP 4DX tests:• 3 dogs tested positive for Lyme disease• 4 dogs tested positive for Anaplasmosis• 11 dogs tested negative

The dogs who tested positive were asymptomatic, meaning they were showing no clinical signs at the time of testing. Early detection is so important when it comes to tick-borne diseases.

We were very impressed with the interest and participation in our Testing Clinic. With tick-borne diseases continuing to increase in our area, prevention is more important than ever. Vaccinations and year-round tick and flea prevention remain the best defense for your pets.

Stay tuned — we will be hosting another clinic again soon! 🐶🐾

Wishing you all a great day 🐾
