It’s Veterinary Assistant Appreciation Week! Please join us in celebrating our most amazing VA Amanda and all the incredible work she does with and for our team. With her training background and veterinary skills combined, she’s basically a dog whisperer around here. From helping nervous pups feel comfortable to reading body language like a pro, Amanda brings patience, confidence and compassion to every appointment. She keeps tails wagging, helps pets succeed, and somehow manages to keep the clinic team laughing along the way. We’re so lucky to have someone who cares so deeply for both pets and their people. Meet Morticia!🖤 This sweet 3 year old, unspayed female came in to see us for bloating and lethargy. Our team quickly determined she was suffering from a pyometra (a severe, life threatening infection of the uterus that can occur in females who have not been spayed).

Morticia needed emergency surgery, and we made sure to act accordingly to provide the life saving procedure quickly. A big thanks to our community, who continue to donate bottles & cans to support our Care Trust Fund, which made it possible to assist in helping her owner afford this urgent treatment.

A big kudos to Morticia’s mom for recognizing that something wasn’t right and bringing her in when she did! We’re so happy to report that she is doing great at home, and recovering well🥰

The veterinary industry is challenging, emotional, and at times very overwhelming… but at the heart of it, we are just people doing our best. We could be having the worst day, yet these amazing ladies will still laugh with you & give your puppy or kitten snuggles.

The technicians who advocate and care through every step.

The assistants who keeps things running smoothly behind the scenes and comforts your pets during scary moments.
