Please join us in welcoming some very special new additions to the Marley's Pet Rescue family. 🥰

Recently, we were told about two moms and seven babies in need of help. When we had a volunteer assess the situation, we discovered there were actually at least three moms and over 17 kittens! 😱

We welcomed one sweet mama cat and 10 kittens into our care. These little ones vary in age so we have split them into two different foster homes.

A huge thank you to Barn Cat Co-op for partnering with us on this rescue effort and taking in another mama and her kittens. We hope that, together, we can help the remaining cats on the property through sterilization and proper care, preventing unwanted litters like this in the future.

We would also like to thank our incredible fosters, transport volunteers, and supporters who stepped up to help make this rescue possible. Rescue truly takes a village, and we are so grateful for everyone who helped get these cats to safety. 💕

For now, mama and babies are settling in beautifully, enjoying full bellies, warm beds, and lots of love. 🥰

As you can imagine, caring for a mama cat and growing kittens comes with significant costs. We will need your help to ensure these little ones continue to receive the food, supplies, veterinary care, and support they need to thrive.

Urgent foster home needed

We are looking for a foster home for a 4yr old Border Collie. He is good with other dogs, cats unknown. He is house trained. He was super sweet when I met him yesterday.

He needs to come into care this weekend as his owner is losing her home.

Jackie now Piper has been settling in so well with her new family and her brother, Razzle! 🐾🤍

She is already so loved and spoiled, and we couldn’t be happier to see her thriving in her forever home.

Seeing updates like these means the world to us. Wishing Piper and her family many happy years filled with cuddles, adventures, and love! 🐶✨

Marley’s Pet Rescue exists because of Marley, my beloved best friend and companion. 💕

During his 12 beautiful years, Marley taught us what true love looks like. He taught us patience, empathy and the deep responsibility of caring for an animal through every stage of life. He became the heart and the inspiration of our rescue mission, to help animals in need, and he is reason Marley's Pet Rescue exists today.

His love continues to guide everything we do.

Marley has bravely faced some health challenges over the last year and despite doing everything we could, it became clear he was tired and ready for peace.

I would like to sincerely thank Dr. Sarah Silcox, Dr. Ruthanne Mortimer and Laura from Greenwood Veterinary Hospice for their incredible compassion, support, and care for both Marley and I. Thank you for helping Marley pass peacefully at home, surrounded by those who love him most.

Marley will forever be an integral part of our mission.

Marley would want to thank everyone who has supported him and the Marley's Pet Rescue journey, and would be comforted to know that his legacy will continue through every animal we help. 💛

We are so grateful to Justin's Pet Store for helping organize this every year alongside Dale. Thank you to everyone who donated and came by to support!

Thank you to The Cobourg Pet Nanny and for giving their time with nail trims and photoshoots.

All funds raised will go directly toward our veterinary bills. 🐾

We are so thankful for everyone for your continued kindness and generosity 💛

We are SOOOOO pleased to announce that our Plant Sale, Photoshoot, and Nail Trim Fundraisers raised a combined $1350.00 for ! ❤️🐾

This money will go a long way to help the rescue with medical bills and was only made possible because of all of you who donated plants and who showed up the day of to take part in the various events! ❤️

A special thank you to for generously volunteering to be our photographer (photos will be up on Facebook by the end of the week) and to for donating 100% of the proceeds from nail trims to the rescue.

Lastly and most importantly thank you to Dale who four years ago approached us with this idea that has now bloomed into one of our favourite and most popular events of the year! ❤️
