This sweet girl is still looking for a foster home where she can finally relax and feel safe. Gemma is a loving dog who deserves a chance to leave boarding and experience the comfort of a home.

In the meantime, She needs to be spayed and have X-rays completed on her left paw. Gemma was born with a deformity and occasionally limps, so we want to ensure she receives the proper care and assessment she needs. The estimated cost for her veterinary care is close to $2,000, and we could really use your support to help cover these expenses.

Every donation, no matter the amount, helps dogs like Gemma get the care they need and move one step closer to their forever homes.

🚨 FOSTER HOME NEEDED FOR GEMMA 🚨

Meet Gemma, a beautiful 2-year-old Australian Shepherd mix looking for a foster home where she can finally relax and build her confidence.

Gemma is a very sweet, loving girl who forms strong bonds with her people. She tends to warm up to women more quickly and will need a patient, understanding foster who can help her feel safe and secure as she settles in.

This affectionate girl absolutely loves pets and attention. She's a champion kisser who loves to give kisses and enjoys having her people close by. Gemma thrives on companionship and would love a home where she can spend plenty of time with her foster family.

For Gemma's success, we are looking for a home with:
🐾 No other dogs
🐾 No cats
🐾 A calm, patient environment

All supplies will be provided by the rescue.

Currently, Gemma is staying in a boarding facility while she waits for a foster home. We'd love to get her into a home environment as soon as possible so she can decompress, receive the one-on-one attention she deserves, and start feeling safe and loved.

We are so grateful to Brian Tyson N friends for stepping in to help Aries and Gemma on such short notice. Thanks to his generosity, they have been able to stay in boarding on an emergency basis while we continue searching for a more permanent solution.

Brian has also kindly started a fundraiser to help cover their ongoing care🥰❤️

Last week, we posted an urgent request for a foster home for Aries, a male Border Collie, after his owner sadly lost their home. We are so thankful to everyone who reached out to help. ❤️

What many people didn't know is that Aries arrived with another dog, Gemma, an Australian Shepherd mix. While we thought we had found a suitable placement for Gemma, unfortunately she was very nervous around the resident dogs in the home.

Thankfully, we received a foster offer to provide a temporary placement for both dogs during the last-minute emergency intake, and we are now grateful to our friends at Tyson N friends for stepping in to help temporarily.

📢 We are looking for TWO SEPARATE foster homes, with NO OTHER PETS, for Gemma and Aries.

Both dogs are friendly and affectionate and enjoy spending time outdoors, receiving pets, and cuddling with their people.💕

However, they have had very limited socialization with other dogs and can be reactive toward them. Because of this, they will need homes where they can be the only pets so they can thrive and reach their full potential.

A few things to know:

- Both enjoy being outdoors and with people

-Both dogs will benefit from training and structure.

-They are not currently crate trained, but we are working on that.

-They are not accustomed to leash walking and will need patience and guidance as they learn.

- Gemma was born with a slight deformity in her left paw. It does not affect her mobility, but she may occasionally need breaks when walking or exercising.

-Gemma is not yet spayed, but that will be arranged through the rescue. She tends to bond more quickly with women

- Aries is a bit overweight and will need help with his weight loss journey.

We are hoping to find patient, loving foster homes that can provide the care, stability, and training these dogs need while they wait for their next chapter.

As always, Marley's Pet Rescue will provide food, supplies, and cover any veterinary care that may be required.

These last two weeks have been a whirlwind of emergencies, new arrivals, and unexpected challenges. While we're grateful to be able to help, each new intake places additional demands on financial resources.😢

We have been juggling emergency intakes, caring for vulnerable weaning kittens, supporting mom cats and their litters (a huge thank you Barn Cat Co-op for stepping in to help!), and responding to situations that remind us just how important foster homes are.

One of those situations brought sweet little Kinley into our care. Following a sudden family tragedy, she needed a safe place to go right away. While her world has been turned upside down, she's now settling into a loving foster home where she can decompress, feel secure, and receive the care she deserves. 🤎

We are incredibly grateful to her foster family for opening their home on such short notice. Because they said "yes," Kinley had a safe place to land when she needed it most.

As Kinley settles in and we get to know her better, we'll be sure to share more updates. For now, our focus is helping her feel safe, loved, and supported as she adjusts to all the changes in her life.

Stories like Kinley's are a reminder of how vital foster homes are. When families face unexpected hardships, having foster volunteers ready to step up allows us to help pets when they need us most.

If you've ever considered fostering, now is the time. We are always in need of compassionate homes that can provide a temporary safe haven for animals in transition. If fostering isn't possible, donations and shares also make a huge difference. 💕

Please join us in welcoming some very special new additions to the Marley's Pet Rescue family. 🥰

Recently, we were told about two moms and seven babies in need of help. When we had a volunteer assess the situation, we discovered there were actually at least three moms and over 17 kittens! 😱

We welcomed one sweet mama cat and 10 kittens into our care. These little ones vary in age so we have split them into two different foster homes.

A huge thank you to Barn Cat Co-op for partnering with us on this rescue effort and taking in another mama and her kittens. We hope that, together, we can help the remaining cats on the property through sterilization and proper care, preventing unwanted litters like this in the future.

We would also like to thank our incredible fosters, transport volunteers, and supporters who stepped up to help make this rescue possible. Rescue truly takes a village, and we are so grateful for everyone who helped get these cats to safety. 💕

For now, mama and babies are settling in beautifully, enjoying full bellies, warm beds, and lots of love. 🥰

As you can imagine, caring for a mama cat and growing kittens comes with significant costs. We will need your help to ensure these little ones continue to receive the food, supplies, veterinary care, and support they need to thrive.

Urgent foster home needed

We are looking for a foster home for a 4yr old Border Collie. He is good with other dogs, cats unknown. He is house trained. He was super sweet when I met him yesterday.

He needs to come into care this weekend as his owner is losing her home.

She is already so loved and spoiled, and we couldn’t be happier to see her thriving in her forever home.
