FOUND DOG , HELP US FIND HER FAMILY!🐾

This sweet older girl was found Tuesday morning and brought to us wearing the bandana shown in the photo. She’s clearly well loved and is missing her home very much..

She’s calm, gentle, and seems like she belongs to someone who cares deeply for her. We would love nothing more than to reunite her with her family as soon as possible.

As we wrap up the year, we’re so proud to share that we completed our final spay and neuter day of the year and what a day it was! 💙
Thanks to the incredible support of our community, we successfully provided 101 FREE spay and neuter surgeries , along with multiple FREE microchip implants, and finished it all off with our last vaccination campaign of the year.

With those 101 surgeries performed by Dr. Love and her amazing team, we officially reached 1,418 spay and neuter surgeries for the year. While we fell just a little short of our original goal of 1,500, it was nonetheless a very successful year for our community, with an incredible number of pets sterilized and lives positively impacted.

None of this would have been possible without our very own Ingrid Lima and Dr. Baptist of the Saga team as well as Dr. Love and her team and San Pedro Pet Outreach for organizing the microchip event, and all of our wonderful volunteers who assisted with post op care as well as picking up and dropping off animals. Your kindness and dedication truly made a difference.

This year has been filled with teamwork, compassion, and positive impact for our animals and our community. We are beyond grateful to everyone who supported us along the way.

Wishing everyone a happy and healthy New Year! we can’t wait to see you all next year! 🐶🐱✨

Our final spay & neuter campaign of the year kicked off yesterday with Dr. Love and her amazing team, and what a start it’s been!

This campaign runs until the 30th, followed by our final vaccination campaign on the 31st (half day only)

A huge thank you to our dedicated vets and every volunteer who gave their time capturing strays, assisting at the clinic, and supporting every step of the way. Your compassion and teamwork are changing lives, one animal at a time. 💙🐶🐱

This sweet girl was found yesterday evening at the water taxi wearing a red harness. She’s safe with us now, but she’s missing her home very much.

🐾 HAPPY TALES: Pirate’s Journey at our shelter 🏴‍☠️💛

Pirate first came to us back in 2020, rescued from a garbage area in the San Mateo region. He was in rough shape suffering from a severe eye injury (which sadly had to be removed), tick fever, and heartworm. Despite everything, Pirate never stopped being gentle and trusting.

With lots of love and care, Pirate completed his treatment, made an amazing recovery, and was neutered and fully vaccinated. He stayed with us until 2023, when his happy ending finally arrived 💕

He was adopted by a wonderful soul and joined a home with two other dogs, where he truly flourished. Pirate showed his playful side, his calm nature, and the sweet personality we’ve always known.

Sadly, Pirate’s adopter recently crossed the rainbow bridge🌈, and through no fault of his own, Pirate is back at our shelter and looking for love once again.

Pirate is a gentle, playful, and resilient boy who deserves another chance at a forever home one filled with patience, kindness, and care.
