🐾 A LITTLE UPDATE ON OUR BRAVE GIRL, BELLATRIX!🐾
Although it's spooky season, the only thing haunting this little girl's past is the horrific ordeal she endured. Thankfully, that chapter is behind her, and Bellatrix is now well on her way to recovery! ❤️🩹
After extensive treatment, daily wound care, and several surgical procedures to repair the damage, this little fighter is now approximately **85% back to normal!** She still has a few minor wounds that require continued treatment and healing, but the progress she has made is truly incredible.
And here's something that makes her story even more special: despite the severity of her injuries and the discomfort she must have experienced, Bellatrix's spirit never seemed to fade. Despite suggestions that she be euthanized, her demeanor remained absolutely wonderful. Believe it or not, her appetite was never an issue! She greeted our staff with a wagging tail and a happy attitude every morning, and she absolutely loves going on her little walks. 🥹❤️
This girl has shown us just how resilient animals can be. She is the sweetest little soul, loves having company, and has so much love to give. While she is still undergoing recovery, Bellatrix will be available for adoption very soon!We cannot wait for her to find a loving home where she will finally know nothing but kindness, comfort, and happiness.
Unfortunately, despite our efforts and working alongside the relevant authorities, our attempts to identify and bring the person responsible for her suffering to justice were unsuccessful. While that is certainly disappointing, it does not change the importance of speaking out, reporting abuse, and refusing to turn a blind eye.
Please, never ignore an animal in distress. Never assume someone else will step in. These innocent souls cannot speak up, defend themselves, or ask for help. They depend on us to be their voices and to protect them when they need it most.
Bellatrix's story could have ended very differently, but today, we're celebrating her progress, her resilience, and the second chance she deserves.
From surviving cruelty to preparing for a life filled with love. That's the future we want for Bellatrix.🐾💗
