Important Reminder for Medication Orders! ‼️

To ensure we can provide your pets with their medications promptly, we kindly ask all clients to order repeat prescriptions 24 to 48 hours in advance. This helps us prepare your order and check stock availability.

This is important to remember as we will be closed for the Easter long weekend (see closure post).

PLEASE NOTE: After a certain number of repeats, your pet may require a check-up with the vet to ensure the medication is still appropriate and effective.

PLEASE BEWARE OF A CURRENT MICROCHIP SCAM!!! 🚨🚨🚨

A website by the name of PETCHIP NETWORK are sending emails to pet owners advising their microchip registration has expired and to pay a registration fee.
The email will contain a substantial amount of personal information including, your pets name, microchip details, your name and phone number.

If you are unaware which database your pet is registered to, you are more than welcome to pop in and we can scan your pets microchip and let you know where your pet is registered to save any confusion with scam emails.

We had the pleasure of hosting a fantastic group of local Australian Girl Guides last week! Nurse Monique guided these curious and enthusiastic young girls on a tour of our hospital, giving them the chance to explore some incredible things and tackle some tough questions-which they absolutely nailed!

Here's just a glimpse of what they experienced:
🔬Examining a blood sample under the microscope
🩺Using a stethoscope to listen to a dog's heartbeat
🩻Exploring X-rays of different animals
🩸Observing various laboratory & surgical equipment

A huge thank you to these bright young minds for visiting, asking such insightful questions, and soaking up all the knowledge Nurse Monique had to offer! We truly enjoyed having you!

Congratulations to our February Puppy Preschool Graduates🎓

As always, it was a pleasure to teach these clever pups! This class was a very social one, filled with some very confident puppies😊❤️

🌼Lemon the lucky little Golden. 🌼

We first met Lemon during an after-hours emergency, her owner rushed her into the clinic covered in blood after being involved in quite a traumatic event.
Due to Lemon’s owners quick thinking, our after hours team were able to assess her injuries and provide emergency care.
During our investigation of her injuries, it was revealed Lemon had a small fracture to her jaw and required a stabilising muzzle as a non invasive fracture repair technique.
Lemon was required to keep this on for approximately 6 weeks, followed by repeat X-rays.

Since her injury she has visited us for cuddles, wrestled with a jelly-fish (another after hours emergency), finished her puppy vaccine course and graduated puppy preschool.

Lemon has now fully recovered and is back to her mischievous puppy-self.
We love ya Lemon! 💛

Meet Dr Josh! Despite him refusing to participate in a photoshoot, he is very happy to be here 🤣
Josh made the move to Yeppoon from Shrewsbury, UK, practically straight after graduating from Veterinary Medicine.

Dr Josh has a particular passion for surgery and ultrasonography. His eagerness to expand and share his skills in diagnostic imaging will enhance the health and wellbeing of the animals he treats.

Dr Josh is kind, caring and eager to jump straight into busy hospital life and care for your loved ones when they cannot care for themselves.

Welcome Josh! 😊
