Cate is normally helping other people's dreams come true in her role at the Geelong Horseland store.

So it was great to see her enjoying a comeback outing
with her beloved Adios at a recent Western Victoria Dressage Club competition. Cate and Adios finished 7th in both their preliminary tests, and had an absolute ball getting back into it!

A registered Stock Horse and all round gentleman, Adios had a few weeks of dressage refresher training at Taminga prior to their big day.

Always happy to help if life gets in the way of your training and competition goals!

Romeo is a talented pony who arrived here recently for a sales prep. He was accompanied by hugs and detailed instructions from the young riders who cared deeply for their trusted partner with whom they shared a multitude of brilliant memories.

13.1hh 13yo Arabian Riding Pony x.

This amazing pony has done it all. Extensive pony club, horse trials (grades 5 to 3), dressage, show jumping and beach rides.

A competitive and straightforward ride, Romeo knows basic lateral work and has a neat walk/canter transition.

Romeo has safely taught beginners to ride, but is all systems go with a more experienced rider. He has the ability to shift up through the gears according to the rider's experience, so will be ready to progress as his rider learns.

“What a little ripper of a pony!”
It’s unanimous. Everyone who meets Winston agrees….while his breeding is unknown, he’s just a super type with awesome Look At Me presence.

He’s also one very lucky pony.

Winston was purchased as a foal by the knackery, but thankfully his quality grabbed the eye of a kind person who bought him, to sell on to the current, and permanent, owner.

Winston found his way here as a 6yo to be started under saddle, and he proved to be every bit as good as he looks. He’s been an absolute pleasure to train, and is sure to make a big impression when he starts his show career under saddle.

The time has come for beautiful little Chloe to find a new family to love and adore her. Unfortunately her little rider has lost interest ☹️

Chloe is a mothers dream in the making. She has come leaps and bounds since being with us with having exposure to motorbikes, tractors, excavators, dogs, cats, kids and cows. She has done 12 months of pony club, been on bush hacks and picnics, beach trips, ridden in indoor arenas, by herself or in company with riders ranging from complete beginners to experienced riders.

She is push button, forward moving and a bright little girl that absolutely loves consistent work and having a job. Has leading rein written all over her with her flashing looks and breathtaking movement!

Chloe is a delight in every way, easy to catch, perfect for the farrier, self loads onto the float, will stand tied up all day and loves to be fussed over.

Never foundered. Good doer.
Sound and up to date with feet, worming and dentist.

Not for nervous kids off lead or first off lead just yet.

It’s been so rewarding working with this impressive 4yo Section D Welsh Cob.

“Jimmy “ was started under saddle last year by Steve Crowe, so this pony had an excellent foundation before arriving here. Whilst there were shades of exuberant Labrador puppy tones early on, Jimmy’s kind temperament and early education prevailed, and a smooth as silk ride emerged as the training progressed.

Jimmy is one of those wonderful individuals whose talents are sure to shine no matter which career path is chosen…dressage, jumping, horse trials?? He’ll do it all. And do it well.

Home now for a break before this new life begins.

Clintana Candy Man. 4yo Arabian pony just started under saddle.

Such a charismatic gentleman, Coco is pretty chuffed to show how stylishly he carries a rider. A bold personality, Coco proved to be no ordinary "breaker ", but a fabulous character who communicated his eagerness so effectively that he just about spoke English. It was hard to resist his happy greeting as he danced over to say hello every time he spotted a potential bearer of carrots walking past his paddock.

Coco is super soft to sit on, and has a superb rocking horse canter. A really lovely type of pony, there's no doubt that an impressive ridden career awaits.

Aptly named Ray (as in 'little ray of sunshine '). This friendly little pony is as kind as they come.

Ray is a lovely Welsh B gelding just started under saddle, and he is headed home for a well deserved break.

This sweet boy should make a wonderful children's show pony.
