Just a gentle reminder that Woofers Dog Grooming (& Boutique) are still offering 2–3 Community Grooms each month 💕🐾

These appointments are for people doing it a little tough who have a much-loved floof in need of care, but simply can’t afford a groom right now.

If this sounds like someone you know — or perhaps even yourself — please don’t hesitate to reach out. There is absolutely no judgement here. We understand that life happens, and sometimes people just need a small act of kindness to help lighten the load.

Every dog deserves to feel comfortable, clean, and cared for, and every person deserves compassion.

True story.

Gulliver & Noam, two long-standing Woofers floofs, decided one night that enough was enough. They packed absolutely nothing, escaped the yard, crossed five whole roads, and made their way straight to Woofers Dog Grooming Salon.

At 6AM, they were found sitting patiently outside the front door in West Hobart, ready for their spa day and wondering why nobody else had arrived yet.

Their hoomans received an early morning call from a kind passerby explaining the situation.

Luckily for Gulliver & Noam, their hoomans took the hint… and contacted us during business hours to book them an appointment. 🐾😂✨

Hi everyone,

Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, Woofers will be closed tomorrow and Saturday. At this stage, we are hopeful to reopen on Tuesday or Wednesday next week.

We will be contacting everyone with upcoming appointments to reschedule — in most cases, we’ll simply be moving appointments back by one week.

We’re so sorry for the inconvenience, and we truly appreciate your patience and understanding. We promise we wouldn’t be closing unless we had no other choice.

P.S. Miss Maya can be a bit spicy during her grooms, but we’ve discovered a pig’s ear works wonders as a bribe.
Just don’t let us get carried away… because if she’s too full, she suddenly “forgets” how legs work. 😇🐷
