There is a small army of people behind running a Horse Trials, and the PODIUM EQUESTRIAN WERRIBEE PONY CLUB HORSE TRIALS 2026 Is no exception.
So this is a post to say thanks and how how much we appreciate the people who help keep the wheels turning for these events. At some point, all these people in this post started a journey with Pony Club Victoria, as a rider or a parent, and now they continue their journey as a business , working with an elite venue, or a volunteer.

Event Secretary ~ WHERE would we be without Warwick & Karen Slade and the team behind EVERYTHING they do for the Equine world!

Kellett Cross Country ~ who started at Barwon Heads Pony Club, and is now a Cross Country Course Builder across the World! And he still has time to lock in the Werribee Pony Club Horse Trials every year!! Ewan has to re design the courses and move jumps EVERY Horse Trials at WPNEC (NO ~ its not a set course 😅) brining fresh ideas and new tracks!

Werribee Park National Equestrian Centre and the hardworking team! We have been a tenant at the venue since 1992, and have seen a LOT of changes in that time! Thank you to everyone involved in keeping the venue in great shape and updating areas to the current rider needs!

Wayne Cuthbert ~ the Werribee Pony Club DC since 1994 ! Who spent the first 6 months as Pony Club Dad in the car hiding behind the newspaper, now there is not an event on in the state he does not know about.
We appreciated all the work everyone puts into this sport!
Here is hoping that we all one day leave this sport for the next generation better then we found it!

With the Eventing season for 2026 well under way at the Werribee Park National Equestrian Centre, we are excited that the PODIUM EQUESTRIAN WERRIBEE PONY CLUB HORSE TRIALS 2026 is fast approaching!!
Grades 1-5 Pony Club & Open ~ and we are again venturing back into the 2nd Cross Country paddock!!
So for those that put in their brave jod's and headed over to compete at the Southern Equestrian Eventing Direct Winter Series ~ are you coming back to battle both paddocks?
Entries are open NOW on Event Secretary!
Stable and Campsite booking at Werribee Park National Equestrian Centre open next week.
Booking are open with Ezycamper Hire to also have a WARM COZY caravan for you to sleep in at the event! They even deliver and collect from the venue!
AMAZING sponsor prizes and trophies are rolling in keeping the delivery man busy ~ dropping off Event stock from Flyveils By Design , Nungar Knots and Crafted By Bea!
Podium Equestrian will be set up at the event ~ but if you cannot wait you can order any time from their online store! Try their Pro Tech Hybrid Breeches and return them FOR FREE in August!
Valleyhorsewear and Horse Paradise are also joining us in the Trade Village!
Rider Video will be at the event ~ capturing EVERY moment of your Cross Country!

Stable and Camping bookings for PODIUM EQUESTRIAN WERRIBEE PONY CLUB HORSE TRIALS 2026 will open on the 02/09 @ 10 am 🐎

❓Do I need to book a yard? ❌No ~ yards are INCLUDED in the 💲4️⃣0️⃣facilty fee paid with your entry.
❓I am camping Friday night in my float, do I still need to book a non powered site? ✅Yes ~ sleeping in your float overnight is camping, and you will need to book a site.
❓Can I bring a portable yard for my horse? ❌No ~ Construction of portable/tape yards is prohibited at the venue.
❓Can I order bedding for my yard? ✅Yes ~ can you book shavings from WPNEC for your bedding.
❓Can I bring straw for my yard? ❌No ~ the venue is a straw free venue.
❓Can I ride at the venue Friday? ✅Yes ~BUT all Dressage, Sand/Waxed Showjumping rings will not be available due to venue preparation.
❓Is there day parking available? ✅Yes ~ day parking and yards available to the left of the driveway.
❓Can I bring my Dog🐕?✅Yes ~and you dog needs to be on a lead and the end of that lead either in your hard, or tied to a post / pole / horse float etc. ❌🐕Dogs are not permitted on the Cross-Country Course when in use.
❓Will the WPNEC office be open? ✅Yes ~ until 5 PM Friday 18th September , Saturday TBA. Please be mindful to BOOK your yard, stable, shavings during office hours BEFORE the event.
❓I am only going to be there during the day and not camping overnight~ will I miss out on a yard? ❌No ~ the venue has 396 day yards & 181 stables ~ plenty for this event for everyone to have a yard or pre booked stable.
❓Can I have a fire in a fire pit or drum at the venue? ❌🔥❌NO~ We cannot stress enough that NO❌🔥fires, open fires, fire pits, are to be used on the venue. This is a PARKS VICTORIA ruling. Please rug up, book a powered site, and bring a heater if staying overnight.
