🏆 A MILESTONE MOMENT — OUR FIRST GROUP 3 WINNER! 🏆

KING SNITZ | CAULFIELD CLASSIC (G3) | 2000M

What a day for Shane Jackson Racing! 💚

King Snitz delivers a very special milestone for our stable, claiming the Group 3 Caulfield Classic on Caulfield Cup Day and giving us our first ever Group 3 victory!

The talented three-year-old c**t, by Snitzel out of the brilliant Princess Jenni, has shown plenty of promise from the beginning. From a third placing at Geelong to an impressive three-length maiden victory at Warrnambool, he’s now taken the step into Group company and delivered on one of racing’s biggest stages.

A huge congratulations and thank you to Tony Ottobre and the Cape Schanck Racing team. We’re incredibly grateful for the trust Tony has placed in our stable, and it’s particularly special to achieve this milestone with a horse carrying the bloodlines of his much-loved Princess Jenni.

A brilliant ride from Damian Lane, who partnered King Snitz to this memorable victory.

To our entire team across Warrnambool and Flemington — this one is for you. The dedication, early mornings, long days and care that goes into every horse is what makes moments like this possible.

From establishing our own stable to celebrating our first Group 3 winner, it’s a journey we’re immensely proud of, and one we couldn’t have achieved without our wonderful owners, staff and suppliers and supporters.

Our first Group 3. A special horse. A day we’ll never forget. 🏆🐎

A very special honour for our team, with Shane crowned JJ Houlahan Champion Trainer and Andy Win named JJ Houlahan Champion Horse. 🏆

To have both awards come back to our stable is something we are incredibly proud of. Andy has given us some unforgettable moments this season, and to see him recognised as Champion Horse alongside Shane receiving the Champion Trainer title is a huge reward for the work that goes on behind the scenes every single day.

These awards carry even more meaning because of the name they bear. Jim Houlahan was a legend of Australian jumps racing, and to receive awards created in his honour is a genuine privilege. His contribution to the sport, and particularly to jumps racing, leaves a legacy that continues through generations.

congratulations also to Tom Ryan on being crowned JJ Houlahan Champion Jockey — after another outstanding season in the saddle. 👏

Congratulations to all of the other award winners and everyone recognised. Jumps racing is made special by the horses, jockeys, trainers, owners, staff and supporters who put so much into it, and it’s an honour for our team to be amongst them.

Most importantly, thank you to our entire team and our owners. These awards might have Shane and Andy’s names on them, but they belong to everyone who has played a part in what has been an incredible season for Shane Jackson Racing.

JJ Houlahan Champion Trainer — Shane Jackson
JJ Houlahan Champion Horse — Andy Win

A very proud night for our stable. 🏆🐎
