So Happy 5th birthday to Cinna - FP Smoke N Silver. Best timing ever for his soon to arrive bubba to decide to play footy while I was feeding Aurora tonight. Can’t wait for this baby to arrive. Will post pics of mum n dad in comments as it won’t let me put photos and videos in same post

Sorry for the lack of posts. It’s been a bit hectic of late. Sadly for those that don’t know Makara sadly lost her foal. We fought tooth and nail for nearly a month but lost the battle. Unfortunately as a result she is now unable to have any more bubs so she has been retired. She will be Auroras mentor and helper when her first baby arrives. Athena broke her foot at the same time as Makara started to have issues so I have been nursing her back to health. Lastly Aurora update for those asking. As of today she is now in a safe zone. Think we still have a couple of weeks but she is moving fast and a maiden so who knows what her actual plan is 🤣😂 I’m so excited to meet this bambino. My first 4th generation baby with 2 multiple champion show parents. 💜💜

For those asking how bad is it, this is the stud atm. This area has never had a drought like this. Rainfall started to drop back around 2022/2023 and has got worse and worse each year since. The paddocks in these photos have been empty since December 2024! Some even longer. Even if we get any rain now we have started to get frosts so the ground is now too cold to grow anything 😢😭

Skyeblu Starlight Dancer PHAA 16969 EEaaTO mare has been served once when I had my last junior stud and she was brilliant to hand serve but doesn’t like being scanned even with sedation so not suited for AI. Paint reg and upgraded (photo with black gelding)
Skyeblu Shez Mystified PHAA 17268 EEaaTOTO mare maiden. Does have stranger danger but good to handle once she knows you. Paint reg and upgraded (solo photo)

All 3 had all there youngster training, float loading etc but haven’t been on since. No reason why they can’t be broken in. I was going to use the girls for my program but I need to downsize due to drought and feed costs.
Also have 1 black PHAA weanling (coal) mature 15.2h and 1 double homozygous black and white yearling (topaz) mature 16h c**ts both beautiful temps and easy to do anything with.
