Did you know that average length of a greyhounds nose is 22-25cm? 🐾

Although their long muzzle serves many purposes, once a hound enters their retirement era it comes in most handy as an emergency resting spot when the need for a nap arises.

Some days you just need to cuddle your emotional support teddy. 💕

Little Narla visited for her desexing procedure yesterday. Following a smooth procedure, this little girl was home in time for dinner and cuddles with her family.

Senior girl Cheeky enjoying cuddles at home after her arthritis injection last week.

We often miss the signs that’s cats are suffering from arthritis so here are some things to look out for in senior kitties:
🐱 Not grooming themselves, often leading to poor coat quality
🐈‍⬛ Hiding away and being less social
🐈 Hesitation to jump and explore their surroundings

Our kitty cats deserve comfort and love at every stage of life so don’t forget to give your fluffy friend a cuddle today 🐾

🐾MEET OUR TEAM🐾

A few delayed introductions this week… Meet Tiana - one of our amazing vet nurses (she’s actually been here almost a year.)

Tiana has been in the veterinary industry for several years as a vet nurse and is now in her 5th year studying to be a vet. She loves to meet the families in our community and is known in the clinic for her positive energy that she brings to the team.

In her spare time, Tiana loves travelling home and spending time with her family and horses. 🐎

🐱Why are pet suits the next best thing?🐶

- Built in ‘don’t lick your stitches’ mode
- Less crashing into furniture and doors
- Helps pets to stay calm and comfortable
- Keeps wounds clean and protected from outside grit and grime

Remember, they don’t replace the need for proper aftercare but they do provide a comfortable and more dignified recovery for your furry friend.

Thanks to our model Stella for being the most photogenic lady 🐾

🥖 Roll up, roll up to Virginias new bakery! 🥖

Have you ever head the phrase ‘making biscuits’? This is a term we use when cats are seen kneading their beds, like dough! It is usually a behaviour that signals comfort and safety for cats, as it is an action carried down from when kittens push on their mother’s belly to stimulate milk flow.🧡

⭐️ Our friend Otis prefers to opt for the ‘I woke up like this’ look.⭐️

We met Otis a few months ago when he wasn’t feeling his best so it was lovely to see him for his routine desexing procedure recently. He was full of beans the whole time and we personally love his hair do.

It’s that time again! We might be biased but we think our vets are pretty amazing. ⭐️

Follow the link to vote for one of our wonderful vets and recognise their work on world veterinary day!

Dr Jo Bromley, Dr Tahlia Mitchell or Dr Maddison Tamasi (or all three 😉)

Vote for your vet Last year, over 1,000 votes poured in to celebrate the vets who go above and beyond and this year, we’re doing it even bigger. This World Veterinary Day, it’s time to put vets back in the spotlight where they belong. The lifesavers. The late-night worriers. The calm-in-a-crisis...
