HAPPY FRIDAY! 🐾💚

It’s an overcast van day here at Hodgson Pack, but honestly, I don’t think our daycare crew has even noticed! ☁️😂

The sun might be hiding, but the energy certainly isn’t!

We’ve got wrestlers, ball hogs, professional sniff inspectors and a few cheeky characters ready to finish the week with a bang!

Let’s meet our Friday crew! 💚

Cerbie 👮‍♂️🐾 is back on yard security duties! There are important smells to investigate, fences to inspect and absolutely no time for unnecessary nonsense. He’s a busy man, people! 😂

Schummel 🥹💚 continues to amaze us with his growing confidence! From the boy who once wouldn’t leave our side to happily exploring, play bowing and getting involved with his friends. We LOVE seeing this side of him!

Blessing 🐑🎾 has officially clocked on for herding duties! Why chase a ball when you can chase everyone who’s chasing the ball? Someone has to keep this crew organised!

Zeno 🤼‍♂️💨 is ready to WRESTLE! Play bows, excited barks and zoomies are all on today’s agenda. He’s just got to remember that not everyone wants to wrestle quite as enthusiastically as he does. 😂

Wh***ey 🐾🤪 is bouncing between wrestling matches, chasing friends and investigating any interesting shadows. Why stick to one activity when you can try them all?

Jazz 🎉🐾 is getting amongst the Friday fun! With friends to hang out with and plenty happening around the yard, there’s certainly no shortage of entertainment.

Lizzie 💦💨 has a very important Friday checklist: zoomies, a splash in the tub, perhaps a little digging and then more zoomies. A perfectly productive day if you ask her! 😂

Zeus 👑🎾 would like to remind everyone that overcast skies do NOT mean fetch is cancelled.

He has one very important question…

WHERE IS HIS BALL?! 😂

Not just any ball. HIS ball. And he’d appreciate it if we could throw it immediately, thank you!

And that’s our Friday crew! 🐾💚

Eight happy pups, plenty of energy and a whole lot of fun to finish off another busy week!

Whether they’re wrestling, chasing balls, splashing in the tubs or simply enjoying a good sniff around the yard, everyone has their own idea of the perfect Friday.

Now excuse us while we throw another 300 tennis balls and convince Zeno that not everyone wants to wrestle. 🥴😂

Happy Friday everyone! Enjoy your weekend! 💚🐾

Another delightful stay with Sake! We shared some rainy day cuddles and a few sunny beach walks. Sake loves to be near her people always and is the cutest shadow following one step behind. We can’t wait to see her again next time 😍

🐾💚 DAYCARE LOAD-UP GRADES ARE BACK! 🎓😂

I know, I know… it’s been a hot minute since we’ve done one of these videos!

Not because we’ve stopped practising our sits and manners before getting into the van. Mostly because I get halfway through loading everyone up and realise I’ve forgotten my phone. AGAIN. 🥴😂

But yesterday we remembered, so let’s see how our Thursday crew went!

🌟 SUPERSTARS (SS)
Lucy & Holly

These two understood the assignment! Beautiful work, ladies! 👏

🥇 A GRADE
Luther

Very respectable effort, mate!

🥉 C GRADE
Sadie, Zeus, Peppa, Stormie, Ellie & Diego

Look, we got there… eventually. 😂 There’s definitely some room for improvement, but that’s why we practise!

😂 D GRADE
Maze, Ohma & Ellie

Apparently sitting nicely and waiting your turn was a little too much to ask yesterday. We’ll try again next time!

💚 SPECIAL MENTION — RUSTY

Our lovely old boy doesn’t get graded because we don’t ask him to sit. He’s earned the right to take things a little easier, and we’re more than happy to accommodate that. 🥹

🐾 AND WE HAD AN EXTRA DISTRACTION!

Dolly’s new mum was there during our load-up, which made things a little more interesting for everyone!

But honestly? Controlled distractions are one of the BEST opportunities to practise training.

It’s easy for a dog to sit and wait when absolutely nothing exciting is happening. The real challenge is remembering those manners when there are other dogs, people and exciting things going on around them!

These little sessions help us practise patience, impulse control and listening, even when everyone is VERY excited to get into the van. 😂

And remember, these grades are just a bit of fun! Every dog is learning at their own pace, and tomorrow’s D-grade student might be next week’s superstar. 🌟

So, who do we think is going to improve their grade next time?! 👀😂

HAPPY THURSDAY! 🐾💚

Our van pack is full of siblings today, and apparently we’re not the only ones with some serious energy to burn after all this rain! 🌧️😂

With the weather finally giving us a chance to enjoy some outdoor fun, these pups are making up for lost time!

We’ve got sibling rivalries, ball hogs, water babies and a whole lot of zoomies!

Let’s meet our Thursday crew! 💚

Lucy 🌸💕 is happy to leave the crazy running to everyone else! A leisurely wander, some lovely pats and a front-row seat to the chaos sound like a perfect Thursday.

Rusty ☀️🐾 is keeping things nice and relaxed! A few important sniffs, some sunshine when it appears and plenty of opportunities for pats. Someone has to balance out all this madness!

Holly 💦🐾 is back to her favourite activity — WATER! After all this rain, you’d think she’d have had enough of getting wet, but apparently there’s no such thing as too much water. 😂

Maze 🐾💚 is joining the Thursday excitement! With plenty of friends to hang out with and so much happening around the yard, there’s certainly no shortage of entertainment.

Ohma 🤪🐾 is bringing his usual happy, goofy energy! He’s becoming more confident with every visit, and we love seeing that cheeky personality come out to play.

Peppa 🐶💨 is all smiles and ready to chase! Whether she’s after a ball or simply chasing the dogs who are chasing the ball, she’s having an absolute blast!

Winston 🐻💕 is growing into one very confident fluffball! He’s come such a long way from the little boy who used to hide between our legs. Now he’s happy getting amongst the action with his big sister Peppa!

Stormie ⚡🎾 is making up for every single game of fetch she missed during the rain! Ball thrown? She’s gone. Ball collected? Throw it again. Repeat approximately 400 times. 😂

Sadie 🐑💨 has officially clocked on for herding duties! With Stormie racing around, there’s plenty of movement to supervise and absolutely no time for slacking off.

Luther 🦴🎾 has his favourite toy secured and is ready for action! Why chase just one toy when you can carry one while chasing another? Multitasking at its finest!

Diego 🐞💋 is back on bug patrol, with a few kisses thrown in for good measure! He’s also happy to chase the dogs playing fetch, even if he’s not particularly interested in the ball itself. 😂

Ellie (Cattle) 💋💦 is bouncing between zoomies, tub time and collecting her mandatory pats and belly rubs. A busy girl, but never too busy for cuddles!

Zeus 👑🎾 would like everyone to know that there may be 13 dogs here today, but there is only ONE ball that matters.

HIS BALL. 😂

Not Stormie’s. Not Luther’s. HIS. And he’d appreciate it if we could throw it immediately, please!

And that’s our Thursday crew! 🐾💚

With so many siblings and familiar friends together, there’s plenty of excitement, friendly competition and happy faces around the yard today!

After all this wet weather, it’s wonderful watching everyone stretch their legs and enjoy being back amongst their friends.

Something tells me we’ll have 13 very tired pups heading home this afternoon! 😂💚

Happy Thursday everyone! Come Join The Pack! 🐾💚

⛈️🐾 A LITTLE STORM SAFETY REMINDER! 💚

Guys, we’ve seen SO many posts lately about pets escaping during these storms, and it’s heartbreaking seeing families desperately searching for their animals. 🥺

We know how difficult it’s been with all this rain, flooding and unpredictable weather, but we just wanted to share a few friendly reminders to help keep your pets safe! 💚

🐾 CHECK THOSE COLLARS!
Even if you’re going to be home, please make sure your pets are wearing a properly fitted collar with an ID tag and your CURRENT phone number. Accidents happen, and it only takes a moment for a frightened pet to slip out.

🐾 CHECK YOUR FENCES AND GATES!
With all this water, the ground can become soft, fences can shift and gates might not close properly. Take a few minutes to check for gaps or places your pets could escape.

🐾 HAVE A STORM PLAN!
If your pet is frightened of thunder, lightning or heavy rain, bring them inside before the storm arrives where possible. Give them somewhere safe and familiar to settle, whether that’s their bed, a quiet room or their favourite spot beside you.

🐾 DON’T FORCE COMFORT!
Some pets want to be right beside you during storms, while others prefer to hide away. Let them choose what makes them feel safest, and offer reassurance if they seek it.

🐾 CHECK THEIR MICROCHIP DETAILS!
A collar can come off, so please make sure your pet’s microchip registration and contact details are up to date too!

🐾 IF YOUR PET REALLY STRUGGLES WITH STORMS…
Have a chat with your vet about ways to help manage their anxiety. There are options available, and your pet doesn’t have to spend every storm terrified.

💚 And please, if you find a wandering pet, help get them somewhere safe if you can do so without putting yourself at risk. A local vet can scan for a microchip and help reunite them with their family.

We know nobody ever expects their pet to escape, especially when they’re home, but frightened animals can behave in ways we wouldn’t normally expect.

A few minutes of preparation could make all the difference. 🥹🐾

Stay safe, keep those furry family members close and look out for one another during this wild weather.

Love, the Hodgson Pack team! 💚🐾

Monday 26th October, a wet fun filled day

HAPPY MONDAY! 🐾💚

After a VERY wet week last week and an equally soggy weekend, I think our daycare dogs have got some serious energy to burn! 🌧️😂

And judging by the way they’re running around today, apparently they’ve been saving up every single zoomie!

JUST LOOK AT THEM GO! 💨🤣

Let’s meet our Monday crew!

Basil 🌿🐾 is ready for another day of making friends, practising his social skills and learning that not everyone wants to wrestle. Plenty of opportunities to practise those manners today!

Daisy 🌼🐾 is joining the Monday madness! With everyone racing around, there’s plenty of excitement to investigate and friends to spend time with.

Cerbie 👮‍♂️🐾 has arrived to discover that everyone has apparently lost their minds. 😂 He’s got important sniffing investigations to conduct and absolutely no time for this nonsense!

Millie 💨🎾 has officially activated TURBO MODE! Those long legs are getting a workout as she races around after balls and joins in the zoomies.

Ellie (Collie) 🐾💚 has seen Millie running and decided she’s coming too! Fetch, zoomies, wrestling — whatever the activity, she wants to be involved!

Blessing 🐑🎾 is working overtime in the herding department! Why chase a ball when you can chase ALL the dogs chasing the ball? 😂

Alice 🤸‍♀️🎾 is treating every throw like an Olympic event! She’s determined to get there first, although we’re still practising that not every ball needs to belong to Alice. 🤣

Stormie ⚡🎾 has been waiting ALL WEEK for this! Balls are flying, legs are moving and she’s absolutely in her element. Fetch is serious business!

Sadie 🐑💨 is keeping a close eye on the fetch crew! With everyone racing around, she’s got plenty of herding duties to attend to.

Ellie (Cattle) 💋💦 is bouncing between zoomies, a quick dip in the tub and collecting her mandatory pats and kisses. Even on the busiest days, there’s always time for cuddles!

And that’s our Monday crew! 🐾💚

After all that rain, it’s lovely seeing everyone stretching their legs, enjoying their friends and burning off some of that pent-up energy!

Something tells me we’re going to have a few VERY tired pups heading home this afternoon! 😂

Happy Monday everyone! Come Join The Pack! 💚🐾
