Mumma’s Fur-ever Valentine
Older sister to Matilda, Coco & Superman
✨✨✨

It saddens and breaks my heart to write this.

A week ago, around 6:38pm on 23 December 2024, Mewmew took her last breath peacefully as she crossed the rainbow bridge.

On Valentines Day, 14 February 2008, Mewmew was rescued and gifted to me for my first Valentine as a wife.

From that day, Valentine’s Day was Mewmew’s birthday and she was always celebrated and spoilt by her Dad.

As pawrents we are comforted to know that for the last 16 years and 10 months, we endeavoured to give Mewmew the best, and in return, Mewmew was kind to us by allowing us to say goodbye before she peacefully and quietly passed over the rainbow bridge🪽🌈

Mewmew was the beginning of many things for me as a fur-mum, and along the 16 years she welcomed a cat sister (Matilda) and 2 doggo siblings (Coco & Superman) into our home.

Mewmew loved prawns and basking under the sun. An indoor cat, she did however enjoy the occasional runaway trip under the house and feeling grass under her little paws. Mewmew was also an independent girl, she also chose who she liked to have in her company, unfortunately, she also chose who she disliked, for some, it was the entirety of her life (although she did make peace with those in her golden hours).

We are grateful that Mewmew, although high maintenance, gave us over 16 years of beautiful cherished memories.

This year, for the first time since 2008, I will not be going into the new year with my Fur-ever Valentine. Instead, I shall be raising a prawn or two for Mewmew, when the clock strikes 12 to welcome 2025 … as I leave 2024 with the sweet memory of my dearest Mewmew.

Mewmew Brand is now officially closed for 2024.

All orders for MB closed on 30th November. We can now confirm that all orders for USA, NZ and now Australiawide have all been dispatched or picked up.

We would like to take this opportunity to say a kind malo aupito from myself and the furkids for continuing to vibe our extra-ness, for your kindness and patience and for continuing to follow our journey.

This year has been a year of quietly observing and internal growth for the brand.

We look forward to 2025 and what Mewmew Brand has to offer to our wider Furbaby community.

We will take the next few weeks off to be present with family. Although the next few days will be spent cleaning our home because we tripping over thread 🧵 🤭
