👉Business Update
We wanted to do a quick update on freeze dried products sold through Healthy Active Pet.
The cost of manufacturing freeze dried food has significantly increased - so much so that we have had to pause manufacturing as we will either have to significantly increase the cost of the product you buy or lose money on every sale.
We don't want to increase the cost of the $99 bag as that is already expensive - and we can't lose money on every bag too or we will go bankrupt
The cost of producing freeze dried food is exceptionally high as all the food is raw and high quality and the cost of good has massively increased.
Our product is also very high in protein (much higher than many other brands) and high quality, lean meat is much more expensive than carbs for eg or fatty cuts of meat.
Then the freeze drying process is insanely high and due to the cost of energy our manufacturers have had to significantly increase costs to us too - and freeze trying food is a big process which uses a lot of energy.
So it is a bit of a perfect storm
BUT we have been working with a new potential partner over the past few months to try to get a resolution and it is taking a lot longer than we thought.
We are hoping that we can reach a solution in the next couple of months which will be great!
Until then we are selling all stock so this is your LAST chance to buy our products
But we still have all our recipes and recipe books as we are HUGE advocates of raw feeding and our freeze dried food was always a convenient solution to this.
