Overall we had an awesome weekend, met new friendly faces and just enjoyed being back out with the horses.

ASEA State Show 🏆

We recently attended our first state show for this year after having such a long time off and unfortunately missing the others we usually attend earlier in the year.

But we made it to this one! And it was a great weekend away.

Took a team of two, both “Ahna” and “Cozzie” did very well over the two days and it was lovely for Cozzie to see his full brother Winston again!

As I sort out some results and photos here’s just a little highlight of the brothers reunited once again, after a year. 🥰

Sunshine Coast Agricultural Show 🪴

Another successful showing weekend.
We had two days of competing with our team of two!

Cozzie unfortunately just wasn’t happy for his Saturday classes and a lot of the time was agitated and decided to be quite moody. So some we didn’t place but some we did!

Overall it was a good experience for him, and now we can fine tune things!

Ahna blitzed her classes on the Sunday, she was very chill (as usual) and just performed brilliantly.

Oh and of course I thoroughly enjoyed towing my float with my car this time, instead of mums who usually is the vehicle we take. 🥰

We had a brilliant two days worth of showing our team of two at this years Maleny Ag Show. Both horses did exceptionally well being our first show for this year!

I have enjoyed getting Ahna out and to start fine tuning her performance skill, as she’s taken the role as my main performance horse currently.

We were both just a small point off achieving 1st in her showmanship and trail (I asked for the judges feedback between these two classes where I also thought cost us the small point), but this has given me the chance to see where her fine tuning needs to put into!

Overall couldn’t be happier with both the kids behaviours from there first proper outing together in some new classes, and I look forward to our next upcoming event in the next few weeks.

Maleny Show 2024 Friday Classes 🐴

Our little team of two have absolutely blitzed today with awesome efforts, I am so so proud of them! 🥹

This was cozzies first Ag Show in Led and Ridden Classes and Ahnas first time in her led against larger horses.

I have been training so hard for the past two months getting cozzie to the level of being able to be in the hack ring under saddle and today he blew my mind in the end. Riding in three ridden classes in the rain, for the first time and coming out with overall champion!

I’m so excited for this boys future, and hopefully when he is ready I will search for an experience child to mount him as this has been my overall goal since I’ve been educating him.

Tomorrow is Day 2!
Cozzie has one led class and Ahna has her time to shine with usual miniature classes and performance.

We love giving our horses life experiences! 🤍

This was “Cozzie’s” first time seeing the beach, waves and other things moving around on the sand. I was super proud of how he handled himself!

Ahna was a gem to, this was her second time here at Noosa North Shore. And she definitely was a little sassy with the water!
