Hollywood North and Imogen King at COTS CAMP proving to the world just how versatile thoroughbreds really are.

At home North does dressage and jumping, but you can see he’s also extremely good at chasing cattle…… and…… not long ago, he was a racehorse - $287,990 prize money 😲.

I wonder what else he is capable of 🤔!!

North is by Vancouver. It’s interesting that his dam (Holy Moly) is by Holy Roman Emperor (the same sire as our Roman Heir). They both have incredible temperaments and are such stunning looking horses.

Look at Roman Heir 😍.

Roman is an 8-year-old by Holy Roman Emperor. He has the most beautiful temperament you can ever imagine and begs to be caught any time we go anywhere near his paddock. He is always happy 😊.

His trot is amazing and his canter just floats!

Roman was trained by DG Murphy Racing and finished racing at the end of last year. We LOVE him!!

A beautiful tribute to Shane McGovern. He and his wife Kim have sent us so many amazing horses for the Queensland Off The Track (QOTT) retraining program.

Of course, Waller and McDonald would grow to be the tallest trees in the forest, McGovern replanting himself time after time to find his place in the sun.

Calling all riders who want to jump to the moon!!!!

Hector de Maris has been here for quite a while. He last raced on August 3, 2025 and is a horse that has truly benefited from a nice long let down and being brought into work slowly.

But he is now so so ready for his new career!! We are 100% hoping to find a jumping home for him.

Hector was born on 17/1/18 in Ireland and is by Camelot. He was a successful racehorse, $160,339 prizemoney, but we think he was actually born to jump!!!

This is so terribly sad.

I have never met Kim and Shane, but I feel like I know them. They have sent us 6 of the most incredible thoroughbreds for the Queensland Off The Track retraining program. ‘Tuck’, the latest arrival is one of the most stunning looking horses I have ever seen.

The horses all arrive here, from Longreach or Charters Towers or somewhere even further away, in beautiful condition looking like show hacks. You can just feel the love Kim and Shane have for their horses.

The genuine excitement and pleasure Kim and Shane have shown when I send them updates about their horses has been very very special.

Our thoughts are with Kim and the rest of their family.

Kingy, Pepi, Reggie, Crackers, Jiggy and Teddy all send their love.

119mm of rain over the last week and not enough hours of daylight to dry up all the mud.

The abscesses are back 🤯.

Always tough for the new arrivals who aren’t so used to roughing it in the great outdoors.

‘Tuck’ on the left is keeping ‘Galifianakis’ entertained with his silly 😜 faces 🤪.

These two are the most beautiful types. It’s going to be very exciting when they come into work.

Tuck is a 5yo by Hellbent.

Galifianakis (Gally) is an 8yo by Dandy Man. He was born in Ireland so should love the rainy days 😆.

Beautiful Moira left for her wonderful home with her new owner Heidi yesterday.

She is off to do lots of jumping, which is her favourite thing to do 😊.

Our maremma, ‘Big White’ decided she wanted to go too 😂 .
