We are hiring!

We have a vacancy for an experienced stablehand to join our small and friendly team at our oncourse stabling, Sunshine Coast.

Duties include but not limited to:-
• Cleaning boxes
• Hosing horses
• Wallking horses on and off walker
• Saddling
• Rugging
• Attending race meetings

Hours (with flexible roster):-
Mornings - Mon - Sat: 3.15am - 7.15am
Afternoons - Mon - Sun: 1.45pm - 4.00pm
Morning - Sunday: 4.30am – 7.30am

Must be competent handling horses and all aspects of stable work.

Above award wages on a casual basis for probation period with view to full-time for the right candidate.

The Irish - what a win!

Congratulations to owners Stefan, Jennie and Mark who love this horse so much which makes this win much more special. We are absolutely thrilled for them to get this win and not only win but win by almost 4 lengths running 3 wide most of the trip on a heavy track.

A big thank you to Irish's wonderly owners from the James Healy Racing team for sending us this beautiful boy to train. He's an absolute pleasure to have in our stable!

A massive thank you to Siobhan Rutledge for a fantastic ride and being her first ride on him.

An exciting win by Chalice Well and a great ride by Tiff Brooker to bring home the win in the first race at Gatton by almost 3 lengths.

Monastery wins first up from a spell for the stable and happy owners, Grammy and Mum. Great ride by Andrew Mallyon.

James credited Mo's win to our apprentice Liberty Smyth who has taken Mo under her wing to iron our some trackwork issues. Thanks Libby!!

Thank you also to Tennille and the team who have all put in to make Mo enjoying life a lot better this prep. He's suffered terribly from heat stress and the cooler weather has certainly been kind to him

SOLD - Introducing Zousoul, out latest stable acquisition. A 3yo gelding by ZOUSTAR out of SOUL PURPOSE who hails from the very fast Solar Charged family which includes G1 winner SUNLIGHT and G3 winners CLEAN ENERGY and SISSTAR.

Zousoul is a strong and athletic type who is lightly raced. A two start maidener, he comes to our Sunshine Coast stable with plenty of upside and we can't wait to get him into work.

Our last two online purchases, Arabian Rose and Chalice Well, purchased for $7,000 and $11,000 respectively, have both had one start for one win for the stable and both purchased at affordable prices.

Zousoul will be no different, purchased for $13,000 from the May Inglis Digital Sales = $1,475 for a 10% share includes full vet inspection prior to purchase and floating to Queensland.
