GRADUATED!! 🎓🐾❤️

7+ years working with dogs, studying canine behaviour, and completing countless courses, and today, I’m incredibly proud to say that I’ve officially completed the VSA Dog Trainer Course! 🎓

This has been the most advanced and comprehensive dog training education I’ve ever undertaken, and I’m so proud of how far this journey has taken me.

OCN London recognised, comparable to two years of university-level study in the UK. 🎓

A huge thank you to Victoria Stilwell Victoria Stilwell , and the entire VSA team for promoting such an ethical, positive and compassionate approach to dog training.

And a very special thank you to my amazing faculty advisor, Colleen, Manners ‘n’ More Dog Training.
Thank you for embracing me, for believing in me, supporting me and keeping me going through such a challenging time. ❤️

Now my focus is clear: EDUCATION.

Because the more we understand our dogs, the fewer we lose.

Too many dogs are abandoned or surrendered, not because they’re “bad”, but because they’re misunderstood.

It’s time to change that. 🐾❤️

🐾❤️ This little guy was found with five other puppies in a public park after their mum was tragically hit by a car and died.

At just around 4 weeks old, he was already facing an uncertain future. Thankfully, he was rescued and has now found a loving home. 🏡❤️

He’s one of the lucky ones.

Sadly, there are countless puppies out there facing the same fate - abandoned, vulnerable, starving, and many dying without ever receiving help.

This is why adoption matters. Adopt, don’t shop. 🐶❤️

Every dog deserves a chance at a safe and loving home.

🐾 International Stray Dogs Day 🐾

For this special day, I had the privilege of visiting Abrigo Lar JB here in Brazil - a place that is currently home to 647 rescue dogs taken from the streets, all waiting for a family of their own. ❤️🐕

These are dogs who have been rehabilitated from precarious health conditions, physical injuries, trauma and, in many cases, a history of abuse.

They need support. They need help. And most importantly, they need people willing to give them a second chance.

Unfortunately, in this part of Brazil, there is very little government support or incentive to address this huge public issue. The responsibility often falls entirely on individuals and independent organisations who dedicate their lives to rescuing these animals.

As difficult as it was for me to see so many dogs in need, I realised something very important…

They don’t need our pity. They need our action. ❤️

If you’re thinking about bringing a dog into your life, please consider adopting instead of buying.

There are thousands of beautiful, loving dogs waiting for someone to see beyond their past and give them the future they deserve.

Don’t shop. Adopt. 🐾❤️

🐾 Dia Internacional dos Cães de Rua 🐾

Hoje visitei o Abrigo Lar JB, no Brasil, que acolhe 647 cães resgatados das ruas, todos esperando uma família. ❤️🐕

São animais que sofreram abandono, maus-tratos e traumas, mas ainda assim seguem cheios de amor para dar.

Infelizmente, há pouco apoio governamental, e o trabalho de resgate depende quase totalmente de iniciativas independentes.

Por mais difícil que tenha sido para mim ver tantos cães precisando de ajuda, percebi algo muito importante…

Eles não precisam da nossa pena. Precisam da nossa ação. ❤️

Se você está pensando em trazer um cão para a sua vida, considere adotar em vez de comprar.

Existem milhares de cães incríveis, amorosos e cheios de carinho esperando por alguém que consiga enxergar além do passado e lhes ofereça o futuro que eles merecem.

Cunning and reasoning - the incredible survival skills of stray dogs. 🐕✨

Their ability to read situations, find food, avoid danger, and adapt to harsh environments is truly remarkable. Some survival skills are developed only because life demands it.

Of course, stray dog populations are a serious issue in many countries, including Brazil, with challenges like overpopulation, disease, starvation, and constant risks.

But without those struggles, with safety and love, these intelligent and resilient dogs could truly thrive. ❤️🐾

Today I visited the RSPCA Sydney Adoption Centre, and it was a powerful reminder that behind every rescue is a team working tirelessly to give these dogs a second chance.

So many beautiful souls are still waiting for a home.

Support with intention. Visit the organisations you donate to, see their work firsthand, and witness the difference they’re making. It matters. 🐾❤️

There’s no such thing as an “aggressive” or “dominant” dog.

Dominance is a social relationship - not a personality trait.
Aggression and reactivity are behaviours, often displayed to AVOID conflict between species, and usually rooted in fear, stress, frustration, or lack of understanding.👈🏻

Labels don’t help dogs. Knowledge does. 🙌🏻
If a trainer quickly labels your dog as “dominant” or “aggressive,” question their understanding of canine behaviour and psychology. 🐾
