Meet Tosh, our golden ray of sunshine!

This gorgeous young Golden Retriever bounded in today for her vaccination and a little paw-dicure (Health check, glam session, endless cuddles).

Of course, Tosh also made time for a photoshoot with her adoring fan club – otherwise known as our staff!

She strutted out with freshly clipped nails, up-to-date vaccinations, and that big golden grin she’s famous for. We absolutely love seeing Tosh and her happy tail wags at the clinic – thanks for being such a star patient!

Here she is with her biggest fans Dr Amelia, Nurse Emma & Nurse Carly 🩷

Can You Guess What Got Stuck in This Cat’s Guts?

Meet Sage, our stunning (and slightly mischievous) nearly 2-year-old kitty who came in recently feeling very under the weather. Her mum reported the biggest vomit she’d ever seen, along with Sage hiding away and showing signs of tummy pain.

A history of snacking on things she definitely shouldn't (like a chocolate foil wrapper last year that required surgery!) made us immediately suspicious. X-rays further supported our concern, revealing a large amount of gas in her stomach and intestines — not a good sign.

So what did we find during surgery?
A 1cm red plastic cap lodged in her intestines.

Thankfully, it was removed safely, and Sage is now recovering well.

This is a reminder: foreign object ingestion can be life-threatening for pets. Vomiting, tummy pain, severe gut damage or even death can result from something as small as a bottle cap. Keep small objects out of paw’s reach!

Give Sage some love in the comments — and maybe double-check your floors for rogue plastic bits while you’re at it!
