Santa Paws is BACK at WAVES, and this year we’re bringing a little Aussie summer to Christmas with our Aussie Beach Christmas theme! ☀️🌊

Santa Paws is a special event organised by WAVES Blood Bank to thank our incredible blood donors, and we’re excited to open bookings to the public!

Bring your pups and the whole family along for a professional Christmas photoshoot with Santa, captured by 7 to 1 Photography! 📸

📸 WHAT TO EXPECT
🐾 A professional Christmas photoshoot with Santa for your dog and family
🐾 One complimentary high-quality digital image included with each booking
🐾 Additional digital images available for purchase through 7 to 1 Photography
🐾 A relaxed, pre-booked setting with one family photographed at a time to minimise interactions between unfamiliar dogs

$65 per session
$30 for any additional digital copies

Welcome to the club, Pumba! 🩸

Pumba is our newest blood donor and absolutely smashed his first donation! We’re not surprised he was on his best behaviour - with Mum being a vet nurse, Pumba clearly knew exactly how to be the goodest boy. 🥹❤️

And what a way to make his debut! His blood was given to two critically unwell patients last week, helping to stabilise them and give their families more precious time with them. ❤️

A huge shout out to beautiful Libby, who has officially retired as a Blood Donor! ❤️🐾

Libby has been a Blood Donor at WAVES since 2021 and has donated an incredible 6 times — helping save up to 12 lives over the past 5 years!

We would like to say a heartfelt thank you to both Libby and her wonderful human mum for their support and commitment over the years. Your generosity has helped so many pets in need.

We hope retirement brings plenty of yummy snacks, comfy naps, and lots of well-deserved spoiling for sweet Libby! 🦴✨

Divi the hero! The gorgeous Divi donated blood to help other dogs after her brother Jaxon needed two emergency blood transfusions to save his life. Divi’s parents were absolutely wonderful and wanted to do all that they could to save other dogs like their handsome Jaxon. Divi was an absolute angel and loved all the treats and pats! Thank you so much to our brave super dog Divi!
