Side alleys make great enclosures, and this is a clean example of how well they can work. The netting runs the full length of the area up to the roofline, and a galvanised steel gate provides easy access opposite the garage entrance.

The feature worth highlighting on this one is the half height snake mesh fitted to the gate side of the enclosure. It's not something every build requires, but in areas where snakes and other small critters are more likely to pay a visit, it's a reassuring extra. 🐍

A beautifully kept backyard, now a lot safer for the cats with the addition of our fence bracket system. Fence brackets run along the top of the existing fence line and make it significantly harder for cats to get out, without the need for a full enclosure.

It's not the right solution for every situation, but for yards where a full enclosure isn't practical, it's a solid option that gives cats a lot more freedom than staying inside. 🐈🌿

Check out this backyard enclosure that makes great use of a long narrow yard, with netting running the full length between the fence and the house. The cats now have a proper stretch of grass and fresh air to enjoy safely. 😸

The activity pack is mounted along the brick wall and includes a natural branch for climbing, marine carpeted ledges at varying heights, and a chunky rope. A galvanised steel gate provides easy access in and out for the owners.

A nicely enclosed balcony with a leafy view and a lot going on inside. The activity pack includes a natural branch for climbing, six marine carpeted ledges spread across the wall at different heights, and a chunky rope running across the upper section. Two wall mounted hammocks cover the lounging side of things. One of them sits right next to where the owner likes to sit, which means the balcony now works for everyone at the same time rather than just the humans. 🐈

Hoppers Crossing, VIC

This week we're featuring a full backyard enclosure for two cats who had some very strong opinions about the whole process, judging by this window photo. The yard has a thriving veggie patch as its centrepiece, and the enclosure wraps around the whole space so the cats can finally get out and enjoy it properly.

Two galvanised steel gates provide access on both sides of the yard, keeping things easy for the owners to move in and out as needed.

A huge thank you to this lovely client for sending in this video. It really does say it all. A fully enclosed balcony, a sunny afternoon, and one very content cat having a bath with a view. Honestly, not a bad way to spend a day. ☀️

Voting is still open for the Tough Kitties photobook cover - and there's still time to make a difference!

If you missed our earlier post, our CatWorks cats Chief (brown) and Chunky (grey) are featured in Tough Kitties, a fundraiser by Instinct Pet Photography and Maneki Neko Cat Rescue raising money for rescue cats across Victoria. The cover is decided by public vote, with every $2 cast going directly to the rescue.

Chunky is currently in 9th place and Chief is in 20th. Voting closes on 26 April at 11:00 pm AEST, so there's still plenty of time to help them climb! ⬆⬆⬆

A neat, no-fuss patio enclosure that does exactly what it needs to do. The existing patio roof takes care of coverage, so the focus here was on enclosing the space cleanly and giving the cats a safe spot to sit and take in the garden surroundings. 🌿

Three marine carpeted ledges are mounted along the brick wall at different heights, giving plenty of options for climbing and lounging. A galvanised steel gate handles easy human access in and out.

We are so excited to share that our CatWorks cats, Chief and Chunky, are featured in the Tough Kitties photobook - a beautiful collaboration between Instinct Pet Photography and Maneki Neko Cat Rescue, created to raise funds for rescue cats across Victoria. 🐈

The cover of Tough Kitties will be decided by public vote, and every $2 cast goes directly to Maneki Neko Cat Rescue. Chunky (grey) is currently in 3rd place and Chief (brown) is in 14th, so there is plenty of room to climb before voting closes on 26 April at 11:00 pm AUS Eastern Time.
