Just over 3 weeks done, and I feel like I’m getting somewhere and achieving something.
Still more than 100 days to go, but each day, is another day closer.

Today though, hit differently - today is the anniversary of Kruz’s diagnosis - the day that the world as Kruz and his family knew, was brought to the ground….. little did anyone know, 850 days later would be their rock bottom, ground zero. And this, might I add was a number that Drs did not expect Kruz to fight - little did they know!

Today is day 1 of the 850days of Kruz’s journey - the journey that no family should face, the journey that should never be inflicted on any 4yo!

Today, as I ran my 1st full km for god knows how long, I was reminded of my Why……850km representing 850 days, and the 6kms a day (till I reach 850kms) representing the age for which KRUZ will be forever.

These kms are for you my little mate ……. My little super hero - keep on causing chaos buddy, more k’s coming your way tomorrow 🫶🏽

“Our beautiful Indi girl 🩷 🐾 Indi has quickly claimed the couch as her own and loves watching tv, belly rubs, sleeping on her back like a person, chasing leaves outside, watching the magpies out the window and her bestie Evie! A bit of an update on this not so little one:
“Willow - just like her name - is gentle, strong and beautiful. She is growing so fast and learning new things every day.
Willow is excavating treasures from the backyard that we didn’t even know existed! 🤣 some of it is builders rubbish from when our house was built 25 years ago 🤭
She is all or nothing lol. Daisy never really thought to dig a hole! Willow, she’s always busy but super chill. She loves digging and chewing on sticks, and giving herself earthmoving projects in the garden. But she’s so gentle, especially with the cat. We took her over to see our neighbours, and they couldn’t believe how calm she was for a puppy!”

Mixing it up a bit today, and killing 2 birds with 1 stone - getting out and about for my K’s for Kruzy AND doing a well overdue visit at Somerville Gardens with the OG Shelby.

Apparently Opal simply does NOT cut the mustard 😂
