Hugo LOVES hibiscus flowers! 🌺

As a Galápagos tortoise, Hugo's diet is mostly grasses, leafy greens and vegetables. Hibiscus flowers are the perfect treat for him as they're packed with fibre!

Safe to say Hugo was pretty happy with today's snack! 🐢

I think our Tuatara is the only one at the park happy it's winter! ❄️

They may look like lizards, but tuatara are actually completely different! They are the last surviving members of an ancient group of reptiles native to New Zealand.

Tuatara need very different care to many other reptiles as they adapted to cold climates. They even have a light-sensitive 'third eye' on the top of their head, which helps them detect changes in light.

Winter might not be everyone’s favourite season, but for these little guys, it is business as usual 🧊

Banded Rock Rattlesnakes are small pit vipers found in American and Mexico. Growing up to only 80cm in length, you definitley hear them before you see them with that signature rattle! 🤙

Donate now to help save our Aussie wildlife! 💚

We know money is tight for everyone right now, but tax time is your chance to make it count. Our sister charity, Aussie Ark is fighting to save the Endangered Broad-Toothed Rat, one of Australia’s most elusive small mammals, now surviving in only a handful of remote NSW swamps.

All donations are tax deductible and go towards everything their adorable animals care.
Donate before June 30 and help Aussie Ark give the Broad-Toothed Rat a fighting chance. 💪

We’re stoked to have been part of this year’s Carp to Croc, an amazing initiative that turns invasive carp into food for Elvis! 🐊

Absolute legend, Mayor Lawrie McKinna Central Coast Council , joined us to feed Elvis the first carp of the season.

Carp are a major problem in our local waterways, and this year 456 carp were caught, with 150 donated to us to help feed Australia’s crankiest crocodile. 🐟
A massive thank you to Central Coast Council & BCF - Boating, Camping, Fishing for making this come together

Safe to say, Elvis is pretty thrilled. With plenty of carp coming his way, he’s more than ready to tuck in!
