Small vs Big Dog Play – Let’s Talk! 🐾
We often get asked about big and small dogs being together, especially since we care for a few larger breeds! This trainer explains the topic really well, and we closely follow a similar approach.

At Pawsitive Petsitting, we focus on energy levels, play style, and behaviour rather than size alone. In our social daycare groups, it’s our job to advocate for each dog, step in when play gets too intense, and ensure every pup is happy and safe.

We’ve been keeping a little secret... but it’s time to share the joy! 🐶✨
One week ago today, Kristys' beautiful girl Gemma welcomed her first litter of English Springer Spaniels — and they are absolutely adorable.

I’m so incredibly thankful to have been there for the birth (and even helped deliver a few!). It was a truly unforgettable moment in both my life and my career, and I can’t wait to watch these little pups grow.

This is something we place a strong focus on when introducing dogs to each other.

Not every dog speaks the same "language," and it's our job to advocate for them when signals are missed or misunderstood. If one dog isn’t picking up on the other’s cues, we step in, redirect, or remove them from the situation to keep things safe and respectful for everyone involved.

Not all the dogs in my life are real… but they’re all made with love!
I made this little cardboard pup tonight at North Ryde Cub Scouts — definitely not a masterpiece, but I think it’s pretty cute.
It’s fun getting to share a bit of my life outside of PetSitting, and tonight’s craft was a nice reminder that dogs really do follow me everywhere — even in cardboard form!

A proper little intro for my Tuesday sidekick, .the.westie
She’s been joining me for a few weeks now, but I hadn’t officially introduced her yet. Tiny, sweet, and curious about everything — Soya’s quickly become one of my favourite parts of the week.

It’s just the two of us on Tuesdays, and I honestly love the calm little adventures we go on together. Excited to keep watching her grow and get more confident each time!
