Underwater treadmill - can be very helpful with sore joints
Hi. I'm Archie🐾 and apparently I’m now an athlete.
A few weeks ago, I could barely get up properly.
My back legs felt weak, walks became really hard work, and I stopped wanting to do all my usual things. Mum said I just didn’t seem like myself anymore.
Honestly… I felt old.
Then the team at Animal Wellness introduced me to something called the underwater treadmill, which sounded very suspicious at first.
Turns out… it’s actually amazing.
The water helps take pressure off my joints while still letting me build strength safely. I can move more comfortably, exercise without struggling, and slowly rebuild muscle again without overdoing it.
The team explained that it’s not just for “older dogs” either. It can help pets recovering from surgery, injuries, arthritis, mobility problems, neurological issues, weight loss journeys, and even fitness conditioning.
I was pretty unsure during my first session.
Now I march straight in like I own the place.
Mum says I’ve already started moving better, getting up easier, and acting more like my cheeky self again. I even tried to zoomie yesterday which apparently caused “concern.”
The best part is everyone celebrates the little wins with me.
Every extra step.
Every bit of strength.
Every tail wag.
Love,
Archie 🐾
Rehab can feel overwhelming at first, but it’s amazing what can happen when pets get the right support.
If your pet has been slowing down, recovering from surgery, struggling with mobility, or just not moving like they used to, it’s worth asking about the underwater treadmill at your next appointment, or call reception to find out more.
