My girl Arica of 7 y plus has recently developed an enlarged lymph node under front armpit. The vet checked, using an aspirante needle, and advised that no infection or any other cause is present. It was 1cm long a few days ago.
I decided to give ny doggie Pure Milk Thistle and three days after, the lymph node is at least 3x smaller. Not sure if the milk thistle or also the needle helped, but what a relief

Discover how Pure Milk Thistle helped reduce liver enzymes and support healthy ageing in a senior dog. Learn natural ways to improve your dog’s liver health.

Rain or shine - dog walking. Especially light rain/drizzle can be fun for dogs.

It is all indivudual - those two - enjoyed a mix of running and some grass chewing under a tree canopy

Most pet parents focus on what’s in their pet’s bowl🥣, but this conversation shows that what the food is stored in matters just as much!

Materials like glass, food grade ceramic, and stainless steel sit at the top because they’re inert and don’t interact with food, while plastics fall into a spectrum depending on their type, quality, and condition. More stable plastics like #2, #4, and #5 can be reasonable options, but they’re still not completely inert, especially over time with exposure to fats, heat, and wear. Lower-quality or unknown plastics ( #3, #6, 7) raise more concern due to additives and higher potential for chemical migration, particularly when containers become scratched, cloudy, or degraded. Silicone is stable for short term use, but capable of absorbing oils and odours with long-term use.

One of the most practical takeaways is that storage habits matter: keeping kibble in its original bag and placing the whole bag inside a container helps reduce direct contact and preserves freshness. It’s nearly impossible to eliminate plastic entirely, but reducing long-term exposure from everyday storage is possible.

Underwater treadmill - can be very helpful with sore joints

Hi. I'm Archie🐾 and apparently I’m now an athlete.

A few weeks ago, I could barely get up properly.

My back legs felt weak, walks became really hard work, and I stopped wanting to do all my usual things. Mum said I just didn’t seem like myself anymore.

Honestly… I felt old.

Then the team at Animal Wellness introduced me to something called the underwater treadmill, which sounded very suspicious at first.

Turns out… it’s actually amazing.

The water helps take pressure off my joints while still letting me build strength safely. I can move more comfortably, exercise without struggling, and slowly rebuild muscle again without overdoing it.

The team explained that it’s not just for “older dogs” either. It can help pets recovering from surgery, injuries, arthritis, mobility problems, neurological issues, weight loss journeys, and even fitness conditioning.

I was pretty unsure during my first session.

Now I march straight in like I own the place.

Mum says I’ve already started moving better, getting up easier, and acting more like my cheeky self again. I even tried to zoomie yesterday which apparently caused “concern.”

The best part is everyone celebrates the little wins with me.

Every extra step.
Every bit of strength.
Every tail wag.

Love,
Archie 🐾

Rehab can feel overwhelming at first, but it’s amazing what can happen when pets get the right support.

If your pet has been slowing down, recovering from surgery, struggling with mobility, or just not moving like they used to, it’s worth asking about the underwater treadmill at your next appointment, or call reception to find out more.
