I absolutely rate ā€œRonnyā€. He’s got this cute lil head shake thing he does and he’s so bloody polite and peaceful.
For a horse that’s ā€œgreenā€ under saddle (he’s bay in my opinion but what would I know?), he gets around like he’s been there & done that.
I think we measured him, but I don’t remember, let’s call him 15.2? And he’s 6yo.
He’s had 41 starts, so that would explain his calm demeanour. People often think if they’ve raced, they’re ā€œcrazyā€. These horses have been on and off the float many times, they tie up for extended periods of time and raced under lights. They’ve been handled in the dark, they’ve been handled in the early morning, they’ve just been HANDLED. The amount of time these horses spend with people during their racing careers absolutely sets them up to be adaptable and versatile and QUIET.
Ronny has all the qualities and attributes to be a beginners horse. I really like him, and I absolutely love his lil quirk (head shake) that shows he feels comfortable to be himself and to show his personality.
Ronny will be available in the coming weeks🩵

I sold Phoebe around 6 months ago? I’m not sure, time is lost on me, but she’s locked down a wonderful home where she is being utilised and loved on, thankyou Jess🩷

ā€œI saw you had that other clients horse jumping through flaming hoops within 5 rides, so mine should do the same if I send him to you?ā€
Just don’t send him here honey 😘

Sometimes I ride them down the road on the first day. Sometimes I just sit on them on their first day. Sometimes I just be their mate for their first 5 sessions. Every horse is slightly different, which I shouldn’t have to explain. This horse has had a similar preparation to other horses that have been here, and today she wasn’t ready to ride (her first rodeošŸ˜‰). Other horses come here with only a light prep under their belt, and I take them for a trail ride on their first day. Variables are just that, variable.
If they’re unsafe, they don’t stay. If they need a fkn minute, they get just that. And if they wanna let my fat ass on their back and go for a dordle down the road, well off we go.
I could’ve pushed this horse today. I could’ve rode her. I could’ve pushed her out of her comfort zone and either had a win, or a disaster. But that’s what you’re paying for, my knowledge and experience to know when to push, when to bring it down a peg, when to start from scratch, or to trust that I’ve done enough education & tests with the horse to take it out the gate.
I’m the one on the end of that rope feeling that horse tell me she isn’t ready. Maybe not today. Maybe not tomorrow. Maybe not in 10 fkn weeks, doesn’t matter. I listen, I adapt, I encourage & support, and I know where to quit and call it a day and have a beer with the horse.
You’re paying for my understanding of a variety of horses. Different breeds, different ages, different experiences, different mind sets, different personalities. Understanding, listening, knowing HOW and WHEN to ask, and knowing when the horse is trying to understand my question, and giving them credit for it.
The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result. And I think that applies to a lot of people who treat their QH like their TB and wonder why they’re running into trouble. Asking them the same question over and over, and wondering why the horse is becoming frustrated, evasive, chaotic or shut down. They’re all different in their own little ways.
Adapt your ā€œtrainingā€, control your energy, and open your mind. And then find the balls within yourself to show that horse the way, and be prepared to have to ask the question a different way if they don’t understand. And to back it up when they avoid the question and correct that appropriately.
As human beings we should be constantly learning and growing, and it is such a vital part of horsemanship.

TB | Mare | 16hh | 5yo
Race name ā€œInstinctive Spiritā€

Trail rider āœ…
Booze cruiserāœ…
Spare horseāœ…

16hh (measured with a stick) 5yo TB mare.
Won’t be your performance horse, she is a trail horse, that’s it. Gets p**sy in the yard/ arena (you can see in this video), which I really can’t blame her. Today I ā€œgot up herā€ in the yard and asked work from her, and she was apologetic and respectful and did it. But she is a SAINT on the trails - Lisa Jane can attest to that.
No kick, will flick the ears back when you girth her up, no bite, no buck, no bolt, no rear. Will swish the tail in the yard when you nag her for trot/work, cause she has seen one or two booze cruises and she is absolutely about it šŸŗ she is an old soul, all five years of her.

Group trail rides are her thing. And her best asset is- her long back (can hold a 6 pack).
I haven’t fizzed this horse, I haven’t really even ridden her besides today (I’ve just been a sitter). I’ve obviously been sitting on this horse a couple of months now, but it would be a crime to call it riding, she’s just too easy. Doesn’t take much talent to sit on her on the trail rides.
She’s just a trooper. Pull out the paddock when you feel like a sneaky trail ride and she’s a fuss free horse who’s good to catch, hard tie, rug without a halter, shoe, worm etc.

She’s gone fast (won some money, enough to earn her a good and suitable home) and now she wants to go slow. She’s not reactive, ridiculous or hot. Never had a hand raised to her, she has been LOVED. Her owners pulled the pin on her racing career cause she’s got a dicky knee like me, and wants to booze cruise, like me. Please give this horse a home, I can’t keep another but s**t she’s pretty bloody special 🩷
If you want a horse to do nav rides or booze cruises, she’s your girl. Put you husband on her, rest the reins on the horn of the saddle and tell him the only language she speaks, is praise šŸ’… she’ll take care of you, she’ll take care of your silly mates who ā€œused to ride in high school, so I’m pretty goodā€ and they couldn’t ride a quiet broomstick.
If you want a performance horse, I’ve got one for you but Indy is not it. She’s sound enough for cruising but is no jumper or eventer.
She has taken care of more than one beginner on our group rides and so long as she gets a knowledgeable home (or someone that follows my advice), she would be a good spare horse for your kid, hubby, neighbors aunty etc. If you want one for your MIL, I have one of those too (bronc)šŸ˜‰
Now, I’m getting fu***ng old, so don’t ring me if you haven’t asked your partner, trust fund, daughters goldfish, whatever. Genuine homes only.
Indy has been here a hot fkn minute and it’s time she found a GOOD and SUITABLE home. Read that again. Good - meaning will take care of her for the QUEEN she is. And suitable- meaning you know what she wants to do, you wanna do that with her, and you’re not gonna force her to suit your narrative.
I love this mare. She’s honest, trustworthy and will not tolerate a rude farker. You tell her she’s a good girl and she will take care of your ass the minute you’re on the end of her rope, or on her back.
Pull her out the paddock after ā€œmonths offā€ and she’s the same horse. Rug her safely with kids and dogs fu***ng about, crack a beer on her and tell her your deepest darkest secrets and she will not judge you, just take care of you. But don’t get on her asking her to do circle upon circle upon circle. She’s too clever for that šŸ˜‰ Indy and I appreciate someone who shows up with a good attitude and an appetite for booze cruisesšŸ’ƒ

Stella is for sale. Don’t p**s me off 😘
ā€œSteelologyā€ is her race name
15.1hh (measured with a stick) 5yo TB mare.
If you don’t like mares, here’s the dooršŸ–•
If you don’t like TBs, here’s the door šŸ–•
If you think she’s green (she’s obviously a dark brown/ black) here’s the door šŸ˜‰
Tracey Maree gives her the champion title, that’s all you need to know.

āœ…trail ride
āœ…lead pony
āœ…ranch sort (not great but she’ll do it)
āœ…booze cruise
āœ…would be good for ARC/PC

We’d say she’s suitable for a nervous rider or a confident beginner. She is a thoroughbred. Not a 25yo schoolmaster that’s seen some s**tttttt. She is good, very very good, but if you couldn’t ride a quiet broomstick, you get the drift 🚪
I’ve been attempting to find her a home with the small amount of people that follow my ridiculous posts, but I’ve already sold them amazing horses, so Stella is still here.
She’s lazy/ crusiey, does get more up and about on the trails but still suitable for someone that knows that reins are a steering wheel. Doesn’t take balls to sit on her. Doesn’t take brains. Doesn’t take confidence. But, I want a knowledgeable home for her cause she’s pretty bloody special.
She would be suitable for any discipline, although I can’t say she’d do it with a lot of enthusiasm (she’s a chill guy) but she would be a good pony clubber or trail pony.

Have a squiz at the videos and pics, and if you need more than that, I don’t know what I can do for you. There’s videos of her on the roads/trails, chasing cows, and being a pony. Today she did some pickup/ pony work and was a 12/10.
No kick. No bite. No shenan. Won’t buck. Won’t rear. Won’t ruin your fu***ng day. She’s just a purebred good girl.
Wonderful horse needing an equally beautiful home.
Floats, hard ties, non chaotic horse that’s a pleasure to handle. If you ask me ā€œis she good to leadā€, here’s the 🚪

Teeth, feet, worming u.t.d
