We also stock animal health essentials, including vaccinations, drenches, bandages, wound care, mineral blocks, and supplements.

Grooming products, plus rugs for dogs, horses, lambs, and calves.
We stock hay in square and round bales, with local delivery available.
We also stock plumbing supplies, hardware, storage bins, and camping gear.
Gates and fencing supplies, including electric fence energisers and components.
Herbicides and spray units.
Pest control products, including bait and bait stations.
We also have giftware, jewellery, and local honey and jams.
As part of the AIRR and Tuckers buying group, we receive stock twice weekly. Special orders and enquiries are welcome.
If we do not have what you need, we will do our best to source it for you.

Sad to say after 7 years it is our last official day at Smythesdale Farm Supplies.

We have sold the business to a local farming family, who will take over from March 30th.

I just want to sincerely thank all the customers, many of whom are now good friends, for enriching our lives over this period.

I never thought I was a retail guy, but once I got to meet and know all the wonderful locals who became loyal customers, I always looked forward to coming to work and engaging in happy chat.

We thank our loyal staff Cathy and Chloe who have been wonderful support and company over the years. They will both remain a part of the business.

Unfortunately, cancer came along in 2025, and that forced a change of my priorities. I'm now cancer free but have to work on collateral damage done - starting with trying to eat again.

Thank you again for all your support, friendship, laughs and stories. I will miss it very much.

We will still be around, though some travel plans and family reunions are on the radar.
