Full-Time Grooming Assistant | Queanbeyan

Love dogs, enjoy a good laugh and don't mind getting covered in fur?

We're looking for a friendly, enthusiastic Grooming Assistant to join our crew!
We're a fun, hardworking team who get stuck in, help each other out and have plenty of fun along the way!

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
- Handling dogs of all shapes, sizes and personalities
- Bathing, drying and preparing dogs for their groom
- Greeting clients and their four-legged companions
- Keeping our salon clean, tidy and running smoothly
- Helping your teammates wherever needed

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
Someone who's friendly, reliable, enthusiastic, hardworking and genuinely loves dogs!

No experience? No worries! We're happy to train the right person. However, previous dog grooming or animal handling experience will be highly regarded and given strong consideration during the selection process.

You'll need to be comfortable handling dogs of all sizes, enjoy being part of a team and be willing to roll up your sleeves and get stuck in.

Important Pricing Update

Effective 1st October 2026, there will be a small increase to our grooming prices.

We understand that any price increases are never ideal, and this decision has not been made lightly. Over the past year, we've experienced continued increases in the cost of grooming products, supplies, equipment, freight from our suppliers, and general operating expenses. To ensure we can continue providing the high standard of care, quality products, experienced staff, and personalised service that your dogs deserve, a small adjustment to our pricing has become necessary.

As part of this update, all payment surcharges will be removed. Rather than adding a surcharge at the time of payment, these costs will now be incorporated into our service pricing. This means the price you're quoted is the price you'll pay, regardless of your payment method, making our pricing simpler and more transparent.

We truly appreciate your understanding and your continued support of our small business. Thank you for trusting us with your dogs & we look forward to continuing to provide the quality care and service you've come to expect from The Dawg Studio.
