Evan as big girls they still love being as close as they can to their people.
And whenever I look to her she is watching me.

I hope that everyone has the opportunity to have small moments like these, sit in silence and just be.

Its a glimpse into how we live when people are not visiting and when the crew are excited and greeting everyone. . Its this. Quietly living with little cat-like foxy dogs that can be a little odd, extemely funny and super loving. . In their own time, and on their terms.

🧸 GUARDIAN UPDATE — EKKO, NSW

We received a rather alarming update from Georgie today…

🥹 “Open heart surgery… but he has made it!”

Apparently Teddy had suffered a catastrophic injury and required immediate surgery. 😂

Thankfully, Georgie’s medical team was well equipped.

Two huge work socks later… Teddy lives! 🧦🧦🧸

And judging by these photos, the reunion was VERY emotional. Ekko has his paw firmly around his patient and all is right with the world again. ❤️

The best part of all?

This gorgeous chocolate fluffball is one of our future breeding stud dogs.

Big handsome future stud.
Very important genetics.
Very important breeding career ahead of him.

Still hugs and suckles his teddy. 🥹😂

And apparently missed him terribly while he was in surgery.

Never grow up, Ekko. ❤️🧸

Thank you Georgie for the emergency teddy surgery — although judging by those scissors, we may need to have a little chat about your surgical technique. 😂😂

Our gorgeous Po has officially entered shedding season… and her guardians are already mourning the fluff. 😂
“We will miss our fluff ball.”
My response?
Don’t panic — her hair WILL come back! 😂
This is one of those funny stages where our beautiful fluffy little wolves suddenly start donating half their wardrobe to the furniture, the brush and apparently every piece of clothing you own.
Underneath all that fluff is still the same beautiful Po — and just look at that face. One blue eye, one brown, and that little smile like she knows she's gorgeous either way. 🥰
One of the things I absolutely love about our guardian families is getting these little updates and watching how completely adored our dogs are.
Fluffy Po will return… stay tuned. 😂❤️

This little girl has decided the workshop is where she belongs — tucked firmly between Matt's boots, making absolutely certain no welding happens without appropriate puppy supervision.
I'm not entirely convinced she's helping productivity… but she certainly has the job-site morale covered. 😂

Sometimes a photo arrives from one of our families and you just stop and look at it.
This is one of those photos. 🥹
Our beautiful Finwe, now living his very best life in WA, captured during his Adelaide visit with that incredible sunset behind him.
There’s something incredibly special about seeing a puppy you once held in your hands, months later, out there living this big beautiful life with the family who adores him.
And after being lucky enough to spend time with him again this week, this photo means just that little bit more. ❤️
Beautiful boy. Beautiful life. Beautifully loved.

Sometimes it becomes about so much more than the dogs. ❤️🐾
This week we had the most beautiful surprise visit from one of our WA families, travelling home after visiting friends in Victoria.
And when I say “dropped in”... they were towing their caravan and made the 9-hour journey to Adelaide, booked themselves into a local caravan park for two nights, all so they could come and spend some time with us. 🥹❤️
Of course, they brought gorgeous Finwe, (and Morty) one of our babies, along for the adventure.
The first evening we met at the beach and spent an hour walking Finwe and Morty together as the sun went down. Then this morning we had another 2½ hours at home — meeting the Klee Kai, talking dogs, catching up and probably doing far more chatting than any of us realised! 😂
It was one of those mornings that reminds me there is so much more to breeding than puppies leaving here for their new homes.
Over the years, these dogs have introduced me to some truly wonderful people. Some start out as clients, then somewhere along the way they become friends. ❤️
Seeing Finwe again, so incredibly happy, loved and adored, was beautiful enough. But knowing his family went so far out of their way during an already enormous trip just to come and see me genuinely meant more than I can put into words.
And then these gorgeous photos arrived from their walk today. 🥰
Thank you for making Adelaide part of your journey home. I loved every minute of our time together and I hope the rest of the long trip back to WA is safe and full of adventures.
Some puppy homes become so much more than puppy homes. ❤️
