SKIN AND COAT RESTORATION

Pomeranians are prone to alopecia from clipping - this one was clipped by a previous groomer and once I realised the issue we started a coat restoration program and just hand scissor the coat now.

Otis had his first groom with us and was in quite a mess. His mum understood we needed to go short to start again but no one wants to be to short in winter - so we did a different technique to remove the Matting and were able to still leave a plush finish on him.

Junior Bather/dryer - Anastazia

Anastazia is a Pittsworth local and graduated high school last year. She is studying her Cert 4 in animal studies so only works 3 days a week.
She loves working with animals and has just become a dog mum to Dolly, the Pomeranian x chihuahua !! You will see little Dolly in the salon most days !

This big boy throws a huge tantrum about coming into the salon- but as soon as he is in the tub and Sam starts pampering him - he relaxes and is the opposite! He showers Sam with kisses (and water!😂) as well as lapping up the attention from the other groomers!
Why do they act up then relax into their pampering??

( it’s a secret but has a lot to do with the confidence and relaxed but clear expectations our groomers have towards the dogs.💕🐾💕)
