Awesome week filled with these hard working doggos, all progressing lovely. Two newbies started and we look forward to seeing everyone next week to keep at all their individual goals 🙌

Private Training Session with Henry & Coco 🤍

The focus being Henry’s reactivity towards children, scooters and other fast-moving things, as well as Coco’s excitement.
We covered important foundations, handling skills, holding commands, recall and impulse control. We also discussed the importance of structure both in and out of the home to help Henry feel safe and secure with his owners.

Henry will be joining us for Day Training and we look forward to helping continue his progress! 🐾

Private Training Session with Ashley and her family 🤍

This sweet girl is a little timid, so we focused on building her confidence at home and helping her feel safer and more trusting of her owners.
Exercises like place training and recall will help set her up for success when visitors come over and make walks that much easier. We also discussed the importance of advocating for her, creating positive experiences and building engagement.
Her family have done a lovely job with her, and by the end of the session, she was relaxed and content in the room with a ceiling fan that had been triggering her.
It was so lovely to see how much she blossomed in just one session!

Meet Scoobyyy 🐾

He has come to us for the Day Training service to work on his reactivity and boisterous behaviour.

He was an absolute angel recalling away from other dogs and so happy to have a lil sniff adventure! His ears were switched on and we built a lovely foundation to our new friendship 🤩

Private training session with Tucker and his owners 🐾

Tucker can become easily overwhelmed out on walks, reacting to everything from dogs and people to bikes. We focused on building engagement with his owners and helping them understand how to channel his energy in a more productive way.

Sometimes, dogs just need the right outlets for their energy, clear guidance and support to help them navigate the world around them.

Great work from Tucker and his owners! Keep it up 🙌

Private training session with Mia and her owner 🤩🐾

Mia can be reactive to dogs on walks, so we focused on building engagement and helping her feel safer by learning to look to her owner for guidance rather than feeling like she has to take on the world herself. 🥰
They both did so well together, and Mia was absolutely pooped by the end of her session! 😅

Look forward to seeing her next time❤️

Private training session with Hazel and her owner 🤍

We worked on techniques to help Hazel navigate her triggers, build confidence and learn to refocus and engage with her owner around distractions.

Hazel did really well and it was great to see both her and her owner grow in confidence throughout the session.

Looking forward to seeing Hazel again and building on her progress! 🤗

Started the week with these cute faces 🤗

🐾 Jayda is doing so well with her reactivity with me and her owner have seen a difference at home too. She enjoys her outings and thrives when given direction. Her favourite way to be rewarded is to catch a treat, she never misses.

🐾 Cheech is an OG by now, he comes out twice a week and isn’t impressed with me if i miss a day. He has built lots of confidence in public spaces and is such a good boy but also loves to be cheecky too. He loves a good zoomie but only if i join.

🐾 Addi is a highly anxious girl, she is unfortunately very scared of the outside world which comes with reactivity to people and dogs. We are working through her stress and building her confidence. It is very sweet to see her happy to see me and step out of her comfort zone a bit more every week.

🐾 Luna is at a peak in her training at the moment. She is learning an off switch to her boisterous personality and is so calm on walks now that i have to be silly to make sure shes still having fun. She absolutely loves to just stop mid walk for a cuddle and be told what a good girl she is.

Building relationships with dogs is the best part of training, understanding what they enjoy and seeing the world through their eyes is where the bond becomes stronger. Once a dog trusts you they feel invincible by your side. And that is what i always strive for.

Private training with Lunar and her owner 🐾

She is learning the ropes of being an indoor dog. We started with her place work. This will make for a clear and smooth transition into being calm in home and understanding how she is expected to behave to encourage calm behaviour in home.
