This little cherub is Jhett โ and Jhett has a whole new lease on life after having some very painful teeth removed.
Since adopting Jhett, his owners noticed that he just wasnโt himself: he was depressed, head pressing, star gazing, circling and, at times, very aggressive. After extensive investigations including blood tests, MRI scans, and consultations with behaviour and internal medicine specialists, his regular vet identified multiple diseased teeth and removed them.
Remarkably, immediately after surgery all of his neurological signs resolved. Jhett is now happy, comfortable, and no longer grumpy โ just the lovely boy he was meant to be.
A powerful reminder to always look for underlying pain and address it wherever possible when faced with behavioural or neurological problems ๐พ๐
